Bagels are pretty good, but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Been coming here for years and the man who appears to be the owner has gotten progressively ruder with each visit. He gives the impression that every customer is wasting his time. My friend's order is always the same, a bagel with cream cheese and turkey, and today he suddenly said that wasn't available, that they don't serve turkey sandwiches with cream cheese. We are repeat customers and I'm certain he recognized us, and I honestly got the impression he didn't want to serve us. I'm not sure what upsets him so much, but his behavior has made it impossible for us to continue eating here. Too bad since the bagels are pretty tasty. ☹️

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and it will be our new regular bagel spot. I’m a little bit of a bagel snob being from the northeast. The bagels were great and the guy behind the counter gave my toddler a free little bagel when we came in. There is a little courtyard just off the shop where my toddler ran around while myself and a friend had coffee. We will definitely be returning.

I have been going to this bagel shop regularly for a couple years on Saturday mornings, I don't get a bagel every week but someone in my group of runners does - this week after occupying some of the tables outside the shop because the picnic area next door was full, the very rude male server, who is even rude when serving you (yes sometimes it is your fault if the order is wrong), came and moved us on saying we were taking up space for his customers, we were the only ones there! I don't want to down mark the place because of this employee who I don't think owns the place (I could be wrong) but he is arrogant, rude and has just cost the place our business as I will not let anyone in my running group purchase from there in the future! Starbucks is just down the road and they are always nice!

Cashier added a 'custom amount' charge and gave me a receipt that did not show the breakdown of charges. The charge was not much and I don't care about that, but felt like a shady practice to me. Check your receipts at this place.

I spent $6 on one bagel, toasted and cut in half. They gave me an uncut, untoasted bagel - I brought it back and asked them if they wouldn’t mind giving me a toasted cut bagel - they were rude and toasted it, but didn’t cut it, again. They refused to do so after I asked. I was the only customer in the store and there were 2 employees just standing around.

Bad Service by Owner
We just ordered several breakfast bagels for takeout and were surprised to find that 3 of the orders were incorrect. We had to drive back to the restaurant and requested that they be corrected to what we originally ordered. However, we were surprised when the staff asked us to pay again for the correct order. As long-term customers, we were very disappointed by the bad service and the request to pay twice for their mistake.

Don’t support this business. I ordered a ham and cream cheese bagel and the cashier charged me $11.85 when it should have been around $6. I asked her if the price was correct and she said yes so I bought it but then later when I double checked the menu it said a cream cheese bagel is $4.25 and ham is $2, so my total should have been $6.25. When I asked if I could get my money back the cashier was extremely rude and she laughed at me and told me it was my fault because I should have worded my order differently, mind you I didn’t receive a more expensive order so clearly what I ordered was clear to who made my bagel. She told me she wouldn’t help me so I waited 20 minutes for the manager to come in and during this time she came over to my table and THREW AWAY my receipt that was on my table. When the manager came in he was also incredibly unhelpful and proceeded to hold up two different portions of ham and say that's why I was charged so much, when no where on the menu does it say it’s $6 for extra ham and I also didn’t even get extra ham. He was saying that the price of this bagel should have been $12, referencing his “30 years of different house of bagels experience” when I told him I’ve never payed more then $6 for this order at numerous house of bagel locations. He refused to give me my money back until I threatened to call the police. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of this situation but im a college student and every dollar matters, and the way I was treated was disgusting. They tried to take advantage of me and were so rude that I ended up in tears when I was rightly trying to get my money back for the order they overcharged me for. The worst customer experience I’ve ever had and I will never support this bagel place again.

Great bagel shop! Delicious bagels, good prices, and great staff. I have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Would definitely reccomend if you are in the mood for a bagel
