Definitely recommended! We ordered pizza, pasta, arancini and a salad. Everything was so good! The pizza was beyond our expectations, one of the best we have tried in Bay Area. Our server was Claudia, she was really nice and patient, gave genuine recommendations on the dishes. Great experience!

Good food, GREAT service! Especially from Noah. We love Noah. Noah should be promoted, but then he wouldn’t be our server, so you can keep him around.

At this price point, one of my favorite pizza places in the Bay Area. The Mexicali Rose in particular is amazing

Food was delicious, especially arancini and hibiscus coolers!
They also do half and half pizza which is not mentioned in their menu. We got half-half of Mexicali Rose and Veggie Woks.
We also got a pizza dough for $5 from their home kit, which turned out great!
We chose to sit outside and the ambience was nice, will come again!

No amount of "good" food can make up for blatant violations of the law. Just like rats in the kitchen are a health risk to all patrons, rats in service are just as bad. And you have rats! Denying a blind person access because of her guide dog is 100% horrible and inexcusable. And against the law. If I was the owner, I'd be tracking down the guest and profusely apologizing while firing the employees who broke the law. Humiliating a guest by denying them access is unconscionable. Shame on you! Until this situation is rectified and all employees properly trained on the Americans with Disabilities Act, NO ONE SHOULD PATRONIZE HOWIE'S Update: Owner contacted individuals involved to rectify the situation. Staff is being educated about service dig access and the ADA. He also is making a contribution to Canine Companions for Independence. Hopefully this will improve not only access for service dig teams, but elevate everyone's experience at Howie's.
Went here for a friend's birthday, the food and the service were amazing! Thank you, Noah, for your kindness and tomfoolery.

The meatballs in the spaghetti were lukewarm. As if they were precooked and heated before serving. The sausage in Vorks pizza tasted very bad. Couldn’t even finish half the pizza. Slow service. Never coming back.

Great atmosphere and family friendly with a nice outdoor patio. First of all, the service here is always amazing. We had two servers today Mike and, I didn't catch the girls name but she was super nice and both made dining in even better. Best pizza I've ever had! Other pizza places I've been to never fill me up but with just 2 slices here I'm satisfied! You never have to worry about not getting enough cheese on your pizza and the taste is super good! I'll be going here for pizza often! Tried their Arancini and bucatini too and both were also great!

Not too hungry so we shared plates as samplers. Bolognese with wide hand-made noodles, carbonara with thick noodles, a veggie pizza, meatball sandwich and chicken wings. Pretty tasty, would consider trying pizza with red sauce next time. The crust was thin so it had a nice crisp. For the
meatball sandwich, you had to eat fast or the cheese surrounding it would get too hard. The chicken wings were nicely seasoned. There seemed to be less staff for a Sunday evening, it took awhile to get our orders as well as our bill.

We dined here before a concert at the Stanford jazz festival. The pesto pizza was amazing. Great service from the staff and we got to the show on time. Not the cheapest pizza but definitely worth it.
