I had an amazing experience at Italico Restaurant! The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the truffle pasta and wood-fired pizza. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was cozy yet modern. I’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of their delicious dishes. Highly recommend!
Great gives. Authentic. Good service. Good people. Nice people.

From the moment you walk in, you are part of the family!
What a fab way to spend a Saturday night. Shared three dishes with the parents. We had the paccheri and the gnocchi as well as the San Daniele. Absolutely devoured the pasta! The short rib melted in my mouth and the gnocchi was so creamy and delicious.
Second time here and it does not dissapoint!

I was horribly food poisoned at 4am after eating the polenta here for dinner the night before (Sunday 11/3/2024)
A piece of Italy close to home. Loved the friendly service and selection of food. So yummy

We've gone to Italico for years. Yesterday, for the first time ever, we had an issue with our order. They took care of it and literally refunded the entire meal as an apology.
I told them not to - it was a small error - and when I check my cc bill tomorrow I'll make sure that we actually did get billed. If not, the tip next time is going to be pre-tty high to make up for this.
Just a note to say that we've always loved the food and service, but more than that am just stunned at how wonderful they are as people too

Authentic Italian in the heart of the bay area. Loved the goat cheese salad and pasta with braised meat. Large portions. One starter, two mains and two glasses of wine for $160.

We went there with friends and had a delightful meal. We shared the Fagioli Beitola, Caprese, and Fried Artichokes, Conciglioni, and Paccheri. Finished with delicious dessers. Terrific meal and service.

Place was very slow, it took good half an hour for just an appetizer to arrive. However food was good tasting.

Italico was a very average dining experience overall. It wasn't mind-blowing, and it certainly wasn't bad. For a Michelin guide, somewhat pricey restaurant in Palo Alto, I would've expected a great experience or at the very core, wonderful food. Our server seemed to be doing the bare minimum, wasn't super friendly or helpful. The food was fine! The gnocchi was well made but the bacon bits topping and presentation left a bit to be desired. The beef rib, while the presentation was interesting, lacked cohesion for a $45 dish. Just the somewhat dry meat over dry polenta.
The owner or manager was very nice though and seemed to be very attentive.
Overall we didn't hate our experience but would opt for trying a new restaurant next time we're in Palo Alto craving Italian.
