Just rating in regards to being kicked out of izzy’s due to my service animal. This morning I went to Izzy’s bagel with a friend and brought my service dog. I was yelled at by the owner who is an extremely rude and passive aggressive lady with an accent and thick black glasses. She did NOT believe I had an emotional support animal as he was not wearing the vest, my dog has a skin condition so he is unable to wear the vest I explained that scanning his bar code is on his collar will bring up his forms and she did not believe me and would not allow me to show her proof. This is absolutely disgusting!!! What has happened to the Bedford Community?? My family has been going to Izzy’s ever since they opened and I have never been so disrespected like this in my life. I have this service dog due to the tragic death of my twin brother Noah Latimer, my service dog is assigned to me for PTSD and anxiety surrounding social settings. I have all the proper documentation for my dog to accompany me in establishments and have never come into a problem before. very disappointed. Will not be returning.

The bagel is very decent. But the entire order was wrong. I asked for honey walnut and got plain cream cheese. I asked for lox special and I got no salmon in the bagel. Just unbelievable. I paid $15 for it. What a rip off. Pls do a better job.

Service is glacially slow. Took them around 30 min to make me a bagel and then the guy at the counter just kept it for himself until I came looking for it.

I recomend this place The food and service is great but dont forget to ask for napkins if you order your food to go, they didnt add napkins on my to go order ...now i have to stop at another place to get napkins

Always love this place. Been coming here for 25 years! The lox is perfect, the bagels and bakery is wonderful, and the coffee very nice. I love the breakfast burritos too.

Amazing bagels right on California avenue. The Nova Lox bage on a sun-dried tomato bagel is fantastic every time.

Parking: Parking out back is most likely the best bet

Wheelchair accessibility: Mostly accessible. The ordering screens are tall and may be difficult to use

Great food, service and atmosphere. The one problem I have is the outside ordering because a lot of the time it is very confusing and it is hard to order on it. So I just avoid and order inside.
