This used to be our "go to" sushi restaurant. Not quite as charming as it once was, and the menu has changed, not for the better. One of my family's favorite things about the "old" menu was that we could order specific pieces of tempura; they have done away with that offering.
Complete success. Appetizers, sushi, salads, entrees and service all were top of the line. particularly the Black Cod and tofu dish. Small place with big restaurant quality.
It was nice that a Japanese waitress recommended to try fish, “ Acohdai” which was not on their menu yesterday because I had never eaten it before. It is challenging to try something new. Acodai was very delicious.
No full menu with descriptions, just a list to check off what you want to order. This made it difficult for a party of 4 to order. The food was excellent and well worth a repeat. Service was prompt and prices are fair.
Rolls were ok, but sashimi quality was not great. Took quite a long time to get food out and they didnt check on us much. Wont go again.

An excellent sushi place offering a variety of rolls, sashimi, nigiri, etc. They also have an extensive drinks list and offer some intriguing matcha lattes. The chef accommodated my gluten-free request and made a couple of substitutions in the chirashi. There was beef sashimi in the chirashi, which I'd never had before - it was surprisingly tender and delightful. Overall, an excellent experience.

We have been there repeatedly and will continue. Excellent quality sushi. It may look pricy, but given the quality, I would say it is reasonable. Very pleasant staff. Thank you.
The food was outstanding quality of the fish. Excellent, the service was very sluggish disinterested and disappointing. On top of that I had put in a request when I booked the reservation that it was my husband's birthday, and no one seemed to have noticed that, and I got a lot of excuses about how they hadn't caught it in their system, etc. It just added to the poor service experience
We just returned from Hawaii and the sushi here was by far better this any we had in the islands.
Very high quality restaurant. Great sushi . The takeout area that occupies the former sushi bar has detracted from the ambience a bit but this oldie is a “can't miss.” If you're looking for great sushi this is your spot. And it's an awesome value as well

We had black cod , slightly overcooked. Not the best Sushi restaurant todate plus pricey for no smiles or comprehending our request.

Continues to deteriorate in every aspect and now I have had enough—after 10+years need to remove them from my go to list.
The wagyu and chu toro were both kind of tough. But the salmon toro, o toro, and inari were delish!!! Soooo soft and buttery. I get emotional over any good nigiri and this was one of those times

The sushi was below average and the quality was very poor. The fish didn’t taste fresh and the overall experience was disappointing. Would not recommend

The food was outstanding in quality & taste. We had sushi as well a grilled entree. The service was excellent. There are comfortable tables outdoors with the heaters and also indoors.
