Tipping on top of the tax!! Do your own math before paying.
We had 5 people, but only get 3 water served.
It's an easy and casual place for bites, but can be loud for having decent conversations (may not be a concern for younger age groups).

Some of the best sushi and service I’ve ever had. Not a single complaint to think of, this dinner was perfect.

We chose this place based on the good reviews, but it was pretty disappointing. The sushi overall was fine but not great, but the most disappointing of all was the ramen. Honestly it was awful. We got the tonkatsu broth, spicy and non-spice.

Average at best fish. Unclear why the high rating. Conveyor belt is never running.

My family and I had such a bad experience here, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

We got seated relatively quickly, but then didn’t receive any attention for the next 20 minutes. They eventually gave us water, and then left us alone for another 10 minutes.

We then ordered appetizers, drinks, and our dishes. The drinks came at a fairly normal pace, but we didn’t start to get our food for the next 20 minutes. They brought out 3 of our 5 dishes and didn’t bring out the other 2 for an hour.

We had asked them 3 times about those 2 dishes and they seemed unconcerned and made almost no progress. From the time we sat down, it took a full hour and a half, if not more, for everybody to get food.

We were eating around a time when it seemed mostly full, but definitely wasn’t extra busy. Not to mention, several couples and groups came and left before everybody started eating.

We eventually found out that they gave our food to the wrong table, and yet didn’t communicate that at all to us.

When we finally got our food, the two in our family who could see the full restaurant saw our food grabbed and brought to our table, and it shockingly seemed like our food had been sitting there for a while.

If you decide to go to this place, you should know what you’re getting into.

We ordered Salmon Sashimi and found a bone still in there, and it's a big one, too! The taste was watered down; no flavor at all! We also ordered a couple of rolls, and they were just meh. Overall, the poor quality, especially of the salmon, was really off-putting.

We ordered Salmon Sashimi, and it still had a bone in it, and the flavor was watered down. We also ordered a couple of rolls, and they were just so-so, but the poor quality of the salmon was really off-putting.

The food is great. The service was horrible. It took more than 45 for food to arrive after we ordered. After we had been served, 2 dishes were missing from our order. When we asked if those items were coming, the waitress acted as though we were inconveniencing her. We had to flag down our waitress for water refills. Honestly, the food was very good, but I will not return because the service was so bad.

Food is quite horrible given it has 4.6 stars. Others mention that the reviews are based on experiences had when a prior owner had this place.

My experience was poor in terms of taste of food and service.

Sushi was 50% fresh 50% old. The Spicy Mango Crunch was appealing based on its description, but the execution was terrible. No flavor, no spice, and the mango was some puree that didn't taste like mango. The rice itself is a low quality sushi rice or perhaps blended with other rice. The house sake is well below the standard of most other places.

The only tasty item was the Uni, which was from Santa Barbara.

My regret is not pushing back to return the items. Instead I wanted it get out of there as fast as possible.

Note: 2 means I'll never be back and would steer friends away

Only down side is small parking lot. Do recommend street parking since the lot is very small

Recommend: Sashimi and Nigiri is well prepared. But everything is fairly pricey

The sushi here is very good and well made. Good quality fish
