my favorite sushi place and comfort restaurant. The food and service are always consistently good.
i’ve been coming for more than 20 years now, since I was a kid. I can confidently say that nothing can compare to this place

Excellent fish beautifully prepared, delicious tempura. We had the 7 piece sushi omakase. Lots of interesting specials.

Decent sushi. Nothing to write home about. Tempura was a bit over battered and not light / fluffy.

Unfortunately, they waited to turn on the air conditioning for 45 minutes after we got there until there were more people in the restaurant. That's funny, because...Palo Alto cools down at night, so you want to turn it on earlier!
I'm guessing they run everything on the cheap so they can keep prices down, and the prices are reasonable for the food that you get. It's your classic Chinese-family run Japanese restaurant.

Great food, just that it feels a little sterile in there.

Staff is very friendly and food is tasty. Would recommend!
Very tasty rolls for a fair price. The atmosphere today was a bit loud, but that’s totally understandable for a good restaurant in a smaller space. I’ll definitely be back!
Having tested every sushi restaurant in the area, this is my go-to sushi in Palo Alto. The restaurant is family run. They love their regulars and always treat me, my family, and friends with great service.
The sushi is reliably fresh. I especially love the Salomon sampler.
The setting is intimate and approachable. You won’t be disappointed!
