Food after the gym has always been solid, very few places with large portions, and very few other places open at late hours, kinda goated
I am so tired of one and two day old donuts at this place and they aren’t CHEAP! Like seriously are you kidding me?? Dude, SELL THE DAY OLD AND TWO DAY OLD SEPARATELY OR NOT AT ALL!!! Holy moly do you think everyone is stupid and doesn’t know you are SCAMMING PEOPLE???? DONUTS ARE MADE DAILY AND SOLD FRESH DAILY.. NOT HARD TO DO UNLESS YOU ARE UNSAFE, CHEAP FRAUDS. Which you must be judging by the cat meat quality chicken you call katsu!! YOUR FOOD IS OLD AND GROSS. 🤢
I was at the doctor at Stanford. I stopped here cause it was close to the hotel.
Lots of food.
Amazing BBQ. Their chicken cutlet and bbq chicken are amazing, and the portion sizes are insanely generous. The mac salad is not too heavy, but still hits the spot. Do not forget to pick up donuts as well! Super fresh and delicious, and they make for the perfect dessert afterwards!

All good
The chicken katsu is greasy and clearly either fried with old oil or the chicken is old. the chicken is grey and not tender. The spam musabi is good though. Enviorment leaves something left to be desired as well(old and dirty furniture). portions are big and can be for two people, priced reasonably

Went on a late Saturday night after an event at shoreline.
It was very crowded but it makes sense. Some of the food options were more pricey than other Hawaiian spots I've been to around the bay area, but the portions were large and the quality was very good.
The interior is very simple with many tables, but is not very clean. There were some flies on the inside of the seating area and tables were a bit sticky, almost like a bar counter in some places.
Would go again if I needed late nice food.

To be clear, the place serves delicious food in relatively large portions. They have a great menu, and the service is good.
The only thing that bothered me, compared to similar places in Hawaii, was the prices. Now I understand the effect of inflation, how much rent is in Palo Alto, and all this.
But still, if your plate of Loco Moco is over $15, you're getting too close to McDonald's, and nobody likes them now.

We've been here three consecutive times, ordering the kalua pork and lau lau, and each time, it was burnt. The same is true for a few other dishes we ordered. When it was brought to their attention, they acted as if they didn't understand English, since they're Hispanic, and could care less what the customer is complaining about. These cooks should not be cooking "Hawaiian" food, if that's what you want to call it.
Save your money, and stay away from this establishment.

Big servings, nice service, and clean restaurant. I get the keto plate and it's like three meals in one. The food is delicious and they make it quickly even when the crowd is there.
I have not tried their donuts because donuts like my stomach fat cells more than me

Great value for the price, portions are huge and the taste is good. Got the BBQ chicken plate and was full before I finished even half of the chicken.
