We had the chicken with rice, and the falafel with humus. Both were much better than I expected. Nice balance of flavors, the vegetables on the side were delicious and plentiful, and it's not overly salty nor oily.

If you are reading this review, let me give you an advice: Avoid it at all costs!!!! My experience at Local Kitchens was disappointing and frustrating. Let's start with the concept: it is a shared kitchen (facilities and kitchen) so, you would imagine that pricing is a differential... I paid $64 for a burger with fries, guacamole w/ chips, a small pizza, and two sodas, but we are in Palo Alto right ?!!!? Move on... the food took 20-25 minutes to be ready; so, we cannot classify this place as a fast food either. Ok... let's move into next step: food is ready... we found out that the beverages were sold out (even that they were still available to buy in the kiosk); we ended up with beverages we would not buy, in the most inconvenient packaging. Meanwhile, the kitchen runs by people laughing loud and constantly; they are the happiest people working on a kitchen I've ever seen. Hysterical. My kids start eating their choices... Terrible! A complete waste of food, my kids abandoned the food at the second bite, the fries texture looked like a mochi... The guacamole was the only decent option, but the chips were so oily that the bottom of the bag did not resist. Same experience with the pizza... grassy is the most pleasant review I could give to that pizza. Everything discarded!!!! The concept of this place is nice, but their operations and lack of supervision will kill them.

Ordered 2 pizzas for takeout for a fam of 5. Got a text saying my order would be ready in 5-15. Drove out. On my way someone calls saying they don’t have enough ingredients for the big von pizza, could I pick another. Sure, picked another. 7 minutes later - another call. There can’t be a second pizza. We can only make one pizza. But that one is ready for you to pick up. I also got a text saying my order was ready for pick up. what? How do I feed my family 1 pizza of this size. But fine give me 1 pizza I’ll figure something else out.
Arrive at store. The guy gives me a blank look. They have no pizzas ready or in the oven. Nothing.
They did refund the purchase and provide a credit but what?? Totally undependable and poorly run.

Expensive for what you get. Ok for gjost kitchen delivery i guess, but trying to eat there it is expensive
First time was great. Now, the fries are underseasoned and soggy upon delivery. The sandwich had barely any Fuego sauce and pickles. Had delivery just two days ago. The fries were awful and thrown away. Someone is not overseeing the prep quality at this location.
