Best French cafe ever. The croissants taste like authentic French croissants from villages in the south of France. Croque Madame is phenomenal. Pain au chocolat is great. The Parisian scramble with ham is A1. Unbelievable cafe au lait… I’m French by the way :)

I recently stopped by this charming French patisserie. Their croissants were delightfully airy, reminiscent of those in Paris. The ambiance was cozy, with a clean, light decor and calming French music. However, I found some items to be a bit pricey, which might not suit everyone's budget. Despite this, the quality of the pastries generally made up for the bill. I also enjoyed their hot chocolate, which was thick and creamy, similar to the European style. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I look forward to returning to try more of their offerings.
Unfortunately, overrated. The pastries were purchased on a Friday at 2pm. I would expect freshness ahead of a weekend (and frankly on any day). Instead, it seemed like the pastries had sat out for at least 2 days... Soggy, lacking flavor, and just poor quality. The coffee was good but I was super disappointed by the visit and price tag.
What a gem! Went in for a quick coffee, and ended up having one of the best plain croissants and Kouign-amann I've ever had in the SF Bay Area. The mini chocolate entremet was superbly done, with lots of flavor on a surprisingly light, fluffy mousse. Everything was well-made: it is refreshing to eat at a place that really knows its métier, as opposed to the made-for-Instagram crappy colorful sugary food that's so common these days. Bravo!
I’ve been a fan of Mademoiselle Colette since it opened in Menlo Park. This place should only have 5 stars, not 4.3! It has consistently delivered some of the best pastries and croissants I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot of places). Everyone has always been so nice and I’ve often had to bring my kids.
This bakery is a must go place especially if you have a close friend and you wish to talk for hours in a quiet place. Great coffee, hot cocoa and cute little place.
I’m French, lived in France my whole life. I went to this place for breakfast the other day, and I can confirm they get it. First time I had a good croissant in the Bay Area.

Their kouglof will take you to within an inch of a diabetic coma, but it's worth it. The coffee is also very good. The lady behind the counter spoke with a convincing French accent and said Bonjour and Merci. No need to go to Paris anymore.

The place to go for authentic French pastries!
We stopped by during the morning service.
The inside space is limited, and with the constant traffic of customers, it doesn't encourage you to stay long.
But the service was friendly, and the pastries...such delicious pastries!
We had the Kouign Amann, regular Croissant, and Chocolate Entremet, transporting us back to France. Definitely worth an extra hour on the treadmill...
