I was at Meyhouse on Saturday night for an event. Had never been here before. Lets just say that I went for the concert but enjoyed my meal so much that I went back 4 days later for the "Ali Nazik", the most tender meat you will ever eat. Every appetizer is insanely delicious. I was with my 16-year-old son, who is a "foodie," and remarked that this may be the best meat he has ever eaten. The bread that comes with the appetizer. We had 3 baskets full. It's insanely delicious. I had 3 pieces of my meal left ... I took it "to-go!" That insanely delicious!
One of the top restaurants I have ever eaten at in the US across all cuisines. May well be the best Turkish restaurant outside of Türkiye. Loved the food and the friendly staff. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Great to have indoor and outdoor sitting option.
I absolutely love your restaurant! Everyone I bring here is always impressed by the delicious food, welcoming ambience, and outstanding service. Thank you for consistently delivering such excellent quality and hospitality.
The food was delicious and every time I've been there for dinner, I've never been disappointed.
This is a beautiful restaurant! The service was excellent. My husband sent back a drink and they were very gracious and attentive throughout the meal. The bread and lemon oil sauce was delicious. The lamb chops were good and so was the pink grouper kabob. The prices were high. Although I loved the ambiance and the service I have had better local food for much less.
Truly exceptional quality Turkish food. Love their chicken (tavuk), meat patties (kofte), lamb chops (pirzola), and ice cream in particular.
Perfect as always. I was hosting people from Turkey (business dinner), they were super impressed, they said coming from Istanbul they weren't expecting to find *better* Turkish food in bay area :)
It was good food , can't wait to visit again . Appetizers are great and so are the main dishes , nice ambience
Extremely noisy. 5:45 time slot meant we were seated next to the door (cold draft, mid-October). Excellent choices for vegetarians. Attentive service.
Vegetarian Begendi was a disappointment with burned vegetables that were cut way too big. Everything else tasted really good. Great atmosphere and service.

Our family had a terrific meal at Meyhouse. The outdoor seating was lovely and quiet. Even though outdoor seating is on the street, it felt removed from the busyness of downtown Palo Alto. The food quality is amazing and our server guided us on the best options for people unfamiliar with Turkish food. An outstanding experience overall and would highly recommend.
Excellent food - loud noisy atmosphere. The sea bass was very tender and cooked perfectly as were the beef steamed buns. We asked to be seated in a quiet part of the restaurant and was told front to the right of the hostess stand was quiet. Unfortunately it was too loud for us and we could not wait to leave. So we skipped dessert.
Went here for my cousin birthday - they were very welcoming and made her feel very special for this occasion. The staff was on top of our needs. The eggplant vegetarian dish could use a little bit more flavor but besides that all the dishes were very good. Including dessert, appetizers and meat entrees.
Such a great spot. Köpoğlu and the shrimp are outstanding. Hidden gem: the Spice Chai cocktail — best in town, maybe even the world. Second-best baklava in the Valley. Be adventurous and try the other desserts too. Her sey icin tesekkur ederim.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellen. We really enjoyed our visit and would love to come back. The only thing we found a little less comfortable was the seating arrangement, as the tables are quite close to each other, which made the space feel a bit crowded. In addition, there was a man who kept moving around and frequently checking the tables. While we appreciate the attentiveness, it became a little distracting at times. Overall though, it was a wonderful experience and we truly enjoyed the meal.
