Gentleman was very nice & food was made fresh 100% worth every penny sandwich felt homemade.
Best hidden gem in Palo Alto. You'll realize quick why it's been here for 18 years!
Absolutely awful! While the older gentleman running the place was very nice, the bagels were horrible. They were not fresh and I have had better bagels at a hotel buffet breakfast. Even the coffee was not good and it was warm to boot.
Not a good place to go. There are certainly other very good bagel places in the area and I would suggest going to any of those and avoiding this place, sorry to say.
Best bagels in town!
Great food, love their cream cheese. And it’s just great to talk to the workers here
I went here craving some nyc bagels. Coming back from nyc it’s been a struggle to find something that also has that nice cozy feeling as well. The owner is super nice and we had a lovely chat, he does not SKIMP on lox or filling
Felt like I was back in nyc!
Great sandwiches and the owners are adorable. I highly recommend this place. We're from Lake Tahoe and don't have any delis like this up there. See you at Aloha Ice Cream! Thank you

Shocked at how dirty this place was.
Made sandwiches with bare hands, grabbing ingredients directly from jars. Couldn’t eat it after seeing this.

Fantastic Ruben. You should stop by this gem. The owner has been here for 17years. Just a few step from downtown university. If you haven't got a sandwich from here you are missing out.

A hidden gem in Palo Alto, you have to come all the way to the end of street, but totally worth it.
I ordered a "Grilled NY Famous Reuben with Sauerkraut & 1000 Island Dressing", OMG, it's just so good for the summer.
Not to mention the old gentleman owner cook your sandwich for you, you're actually in the New York of Bay Area.

I think this place hasn’t been cleaned since it opened it’s doors. Everything is very dirty and food is prepared with dirty hands that touch everything including food. Even in third world countries you don’t see places like this.
Not a great value, especially given below average food: 1 hot dog, a small bag of chips, and a 12 ounce can of soda was $19 pre tip. Service is a bit slow. Very little seating. But it has the hole-in-the-wall NYC bodega feel if that’s what you’re looking for and the owner seems like a nice enough guy. 2 stars for 40th percentile restaurant.
