We were celebrating a birthday, and the attention we received was truly "over and above", including a special complementary dessert, complete with candle! We come here often for delicious food, 5-star service, and the ability to visit in a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend NM Cafe!
Like ALL better restaurants, they DON'T charge a surcharge when using a credit card. This is a fun 4-Star restaurant with terrific food. I've had the salmon, burgers, and salads. They're all great. Excellent service. The best public restrooms on the peninsula.
The waiter ignored us most of the time. Our drinks (mimosas) took forever. So, meal pacing was poor. We waited 10-15 minutes for our server to get us our bill. We love going for a special lunch but this was not a great experience.
