I have been there twice recently with friends and service has been poor both times . Too bad since the food is good. Server came by once and never refilled the water.

My sister and I had lunch on July 28, 2025. The French fries are absolutely the best. Crisp with rosemary scattered on top. Two Ceasar salads, one with chicken and one with wild Pacific prawns. My sister said the chicken was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. The problem was with the salads. The dressing on the salad had no flavor at all. Who ever made must have forgotten the flavor ingredients. My prawns were cooked perfectly but no seasoning, just no flavor. Not sure what happened yesterday but just no taste and no seasoning of the dressing and prawns.

My goodness I wish Id read reviews in advance.... Absolutely rip off. Garbage coffee..We ordered flat whites at 6.10 each. They had virtually zero coffee in them.. Went back for extra shots. I was charged 3.60 instead of the 1 dollar because I did not ask at the time. The coffee was still terrible and weak. Zero customer service and hope the place shuts down quickly.

Service could have been a bit better. Food was good. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and the restaurant could offer a free birthday ice cream to celebrate. The bread pudding was excellent.

Terribly rude and awkward staff, unpleasant behavior, bad attitude, non-welcoming and always frowned, they all need proper trainings for interacting with clients.
Besides that, coffee and espresso drinks are usually luke warm and not hot, they don’t really know latte from cappuccino.

Relaxing lunch, good food, good service. Bazille is our “go to” when shopping at Stanford.

Good food. Enjoy half price wine Wednesdays on bottles. Good and friendly service. Nice menu.

After reading a few reviews I was worried that the food wouldn't be very high quality. I was pleasantly surprised that everything was delicious!!! Everyone liked their food. The Cobb salad with chicken was excellent, and our service was first rate. We will definitely come back.

We were celebrating both of our March birthdays and everything was perfect. Thank you Bazille.

Overall experience with the friendliness of the staff and the ambience in the restaurant were both awesome. Special mention to our server, Nick, who was very friendly and accommodating. Menu looks great and not too many options which makes it easy to decide. My Crab Mac & Cheese is just okay for me, not too crazy about it. My husband Gnocchi with Mhicken meatball is tasty but he said that it's a bit spicy for him. Our Roma Tomato Basil Soup is great, and we especially loved the crostini.

The food is always consistent which we really appreciate. The service was wonderful, which is so rare in these times. We appreciate this type of care and will always return!

Nice place but could use an update on decor. The food was good. I didn't realize there was a restaurant if it wasn't for open tables.

The food has slipped in quality. The crab on my salad was not fresh and I had more croutons than salad on the plate. The beef on the French dip was tough.

My friend and I had two very boring, flavorless salads. I ordered a cilantro lime salad with shrimp which tasted totally bland; it seems like there was no seasoning used whatsoever. What a disappointing lunch.

What happened to Bazille? I've been a customer for 30+ yrs. and have previously left positive reviews. Yesterday was the worst experience after a string of not-so-good meals in the last several months. My server was simply an order-taker. Once she and someone from the kitchen delivered my order, she never came back to refill coffee or to check if I needed anything else. She forgot my water and as I looked around the dining room, she seemed oblivious to the fact that there were customers who needed service! I could not flag her down. I ended up paying at the front cashier with NO TIP. Server didn't deserve it and I don't think I'll return for a while, if ever again. Additionally, my salad greens were more wilted than usual but I didn't think much of it until this morning, when I got sick. Bleh!
