Third time trying this chain now at a different location and all in all still pretty good.
Again I went for the poke bowl which I find to be a great value and tastes good to boot.

Unironically their onigiris aren't bad but their bowl is just a better bang for your buck most times.

I ordered takeout from Onigilly since I’ve always wanted to try it! The onigiri were large and quite delicious (Though I personally prefer Tadaima onigiri). There were a wide variety of flavors to choose from as well, I personally picked the beef, salmon, and spam. The karage chicken portion was too small, I would hardly call the set meal a “bento”. Still, I am curious about the other toppings and will be back to try.

It’s just a quick snack bar. Not quite what I expected and definitely not as tasty as the real onigiri from 7/11 in Japan. The rice seemed like it had been pre-made some time ago, and the cream puffs were served cold. They wouldn't even agree to swap one strawberry cream puff for one matcha puff.

I love the food there. They have such amazing service and amazing people and when you enter in it’s a lovely place and has space enough to eat!

Lots of yummy choices and it's made fast. There's no soda but there are still lots of juice drink options. Their combo meals include miso soup.

mmmm yummy…. my current onigiri-fix place when i cant get to San Jose. We got $70-80 worth of takeout for 4people on a Sunday evening and the wait wasnt bad at all. We tried a lot of the onigiri, including Unagi, Eggplant, Tofu, Snow Crab, Spicy Shrimp, Ginger Beef, Salmon Tamako, Spicy Tuna Miso, and one of the tuna poke onigiris.

What I’ll get again: Unagi, Eggplant, Tofu, Spicy Shrimp. These had the best flavor without needing to add any sauce, really rich. I can eat 30 of the unagi ones.

Snow crab was a little bland to me but it was my family’s favorite, they got 6 more next time we ordered again.

Tuna poke onigiri came with sauce I think and it was pretty good with it. Without it, kinda bland.

Staff was chill and efficient. Coming back for 30 more unagi for me and 100 snow crab for my family.

We ordered for takeout, was ready in under 10min.

Great quality, you could taste the fresh ingredients, bento boxes are very good value for money.

Probably one of the healthiest fast food options around.

Will come back.

We were first drawn in by the beautiful interior design and the concept the store advocates. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the expectations. The ingredients and overall taste felt more like frozen food from the supermarket rather than freshly prepared dishes.

The rice, in particular, was disappointing — it didn’t have the texture or flavor you’d expect from Japanese rice, and it was quite hard. I couldn’t even finish the set I ordered.

While the atmosphere is inviting, the food quality really needs improvement to match the appealing space and branding.

Love their poke bowl! I love poke very much but this is the best poke place. My fav is signature poke with sesame dressing. With the mixed rice and greens, you will feel happy and full.

Really bad onigiri. The rice is mushy, broken, and soggy and tastes like bad quality (has an off scent) which is disappointing since rice is the main part of almost all items sold here. The rice is also pressed into these ugly flat triangle moulds, not formed by hand, so instead of onigiri these are more like uncooked rice burgers. Fillings aren’t tasty at all. The spam one seems to be straight out of the can and not fried. The raw salmon with imitation crab salad is ok, they give you a lot of filling but the crab salad has no flavour. The seaweed they use is smelly and old-tasting. Do yourself a favour and get your onigiri from Nijiya market or something. The atmosphere in the store is soulless. Their water tastes like bathroom water, its gross for some reason.

We ordered 14 bento box sets before opening, but they prepared them so quickly. And we could easily figure out which one is which.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
