Reccomend the lamb kebabs with rice, they were really juicy and had a deep lamb flavour which paired well with the fragrant rice

(3.5 stars). I didn’t have strong feelings about this place and likely wouldn’t go back, though the food and everything was okay, there’s better Mediterranean food to be had in Palo Alto. The falafel balls are tiny but also good. The pickled cabbage was a bit too sweet for me and the salad was sub-par. Staff were perfectly friendly and responsive. The inside is pretty small but does have some seating options. While it was clean and tidy, it didn’t feel like a place I really wanted to sit down and stay at. Okay but not great.

Their green sauce is quite spicy for folks who enjoy spicy food

I'm visiting from Toronto, where we have GREAT food from around the world.

So... I'm delighted to share that the food, or at least mine and what I can see from my sister's and brother-in-law's dishes, turned out fabulous! The flavours, textures, freshness, plating, all of it. It also seems quite reasonably priced. Very prompt service, which worked out well for us.

I had the roasted cauliflower hummus. Soooo good. Would definitely eat here again and try some of the other dishes.

I pre-ordered online and went to pick it up, but the staff was rude. I already paid online, but they gave me the receipt and looks like asked for a tip, which was very unprofessional and disappointing. This is my first time visiting Express, and I will just order from the store in downtown Palo Alto like I usually do.

I make it a point to visit Oren's Hummus whenever I'm in the bay area. It is a great example of simple food made amazing. The vegetarian options are plentiful and delicious. My typical order consists of a green herb falafel rice bowl along with a side of the classic hummus. The quality of my food has been consistently great and the authenticity of the recipes stands out. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone that is in the area.

friendly staff, delicious food, large servings.

I had the beef hummus: enough to share for two. it includes two large breads, plus dip, and a bit of salad. lots of outdoor picnic tables. . Will go again.
