One of the best places to work, study, and hang out. Their coffee is 10x better than Philz, 100x better than Starbucks. The owners very nice people.

Awesome ambiance, friendly service, great vibe, coffee, books games and magazines to read, retro decor. Ample seating and fast service as well. Coffee and service will peel up your morning!

I bought a almost $16 croissant order, this was the fruit cup of bad fruit. This is not worth the almost $16!!

Our family frequented this spot for quite a few months as we take our toddler to the play gym next door on a weekly basis and we love the local family ambiance here! It's always busy Saturday mornings, but never so busy that you can't find a spot to sit and sip your coffee or chow down on your breakfast. Their coffee is good, and we're a big fan of their bagels and that's really all we could ask for! Parking is a bit iffy depending on the time of day, since we're there early for the play gym we never have much of an issue but we have seen the lot completely packed when we come out of our gym class.

OMG! I was just looking for a wake up. What I found was great atmosphere, the friendliest family service, and the most crispy, fresh, tasty tuna sandwich I can remember. Cafe was not packed but, a decent crowd...Should add another star, if possible

I go to university in San Diego but ALWAYS make it a point to visit Palo Alto Cafe when I visit the Bay Area. They make such great iced lattes and the employees/owners are always so friendly!

Came here a few times now because Philz on Middlefield is closed now. The Coffee is meh. Staff attitude is meh. It's a prime location in the neighborhood though. Would be nice if it's actually a good coffee shop.

Best chicken sandwich I've had in probably 4 years! The other reviewers are right to highlight it. I'm lucky that I happened to search for a sandwich while I was in midtown Palo Alto at lunch. I hope they never change this sandwich. It has juicy grilled chicken, nice lettuce & tomatoes, pickle fragments, onion, and some sliced grilled mushrooms! French roll is fresh and easy to bite. Not hard like rolls can be on similar sandwiches. Outstanding. I might try even try their coffee next time haha

A great cafe in the area. Gets really busy because it's so popular, but it was a really enjoyable experience, especially once it died down just a little. I'm a huge fan of the mugs :)

We came here for breakfast after a soccer game with my family and we all loved it, especially my 3 daughters ages 10,7, and 3. Very friendly staff and fresh pastries, food and of course coffee! Will definitely make the drive from San Jose again.
