Food and atmosphere are always great. On this particular visit service was very slow even they weren't busy. Side note regarding slow service: I hate that they automatically added a 20% gratuity to the bill, I will tip based of the service, thank you.

Classic dinner experience in the heart of Palo Alto. The service was excellent and the food was top notch. Definitely recommend

We had loved Palo Alto Creamery for decades, but today’s experience was deeply upsetting. The host was shockingly rude and dismissive. Although many tables were open, he tried to seat us at a cramped, uncomfortable spot. When I politely asked if we could sit elsewhere and began to explain our occasion, he abruptly cut me off and firmly stated that was the table we’d be given. His tone was cold, condescending, and almost scolding—so much so that I actually felt nervous and unwelcome. It was an unnecessarily aggressive response to a simple and respectful request.

Even my daughter, who normally encourages me to let things go, was stunned. She asked us to leave and said she never wants to return. I agree. It’s incredibly disappointing to be treated so poorly at a place we once considered a longtime favorite. No one deserves to be spoken to or treated like that.

I got the fish and chips and the fish was freshly fried and super crispy. The chips were a little stale / hard to chew, but still ok. The milkshakes here are good too.

Came here on a Sunday night as we’ve heard good things. The chili Verde turkey chili was really good and the mac & cheese balls appetizers were also tasty. I got a pastrami sandwich and my friend got the spicy chicken and we split them. The pastrami was really really good, not quite Katz deli but very tasty.

I love that they brought the shakes out with the extra 10 like in the old days so you had about 2 1/2 cups of shake. The atmosphere is awesome and nostalgia is great! Highly recommended but kind of pricey.

Good coffee and perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict. There are ample seating options for a single traveler and groups.

The Caribbean French toast was amazing! Definitely the best breakfast french toast I've ever had. The caramelized bananas were great! The chicken apple sausage and pork sausage were good too! A bit too greasy and salty but I thoroughly enjoyed them nonetheless.

Atmosphere is nice and retro.

The restaurant is nice for those who like a diner atmosphere. The food is delicious and the quantity is large. I once tried tuna with potatoes and it was delicious and delicious. Don't miss the amazing milkshake. I tried the peanut and it was nothing wrong. I highly recommend it

This restaurant is a blast from the past.
Relaxing atmosphere, comfort food and all- American old fashioned desserts, vinyl covered booths, iconic jukebox...
The service was spot- on. The waiters were attentive and helpful.
The tuna melt was one of the best I've ever eaten.
Can't wait to come back and try the other offerings.

I personally didn't care for the taste of the food. A little over priced for what it is. Maybe, their desserts/pastries and milkshakes are their specialty.

It is a very classic traditional American dining all-day breakfast place ?
A variety of all-day breakfasts definitely makes you hungry. I'd like to come for breakfast next time.
We had just a regular black ice coffee, fresh grapefruit juice, and home-style potato. They were all good!
The customer service was excellent. I asked about the homemade potato or French fries, and then they brought me a piece of potato to try before ordering it! Great!! ?
