A go-to place that we did take out from during the non-dine-in period of Covid. Solid food every time (esp. the tea smoked duck, garlic eggplant, sauteed pea sprouts, beef noodle soup, and good old beef and broccoli). They have a tough time estimating when it will be ready (for take out), so more often than not there was an extra wait. But the food always satisfied.

Ordered the Peking duck and substituted the crepes for steamed buns. It was so delicious! Definitely the best Peking duck I've had in a while; perfect amount of crispy-ness! The soup and fried rice we ordered was also very good! They were very polite to us despite us coming in close to closing time. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Peking Duck Restaurant in Palo Alto takes peking duck to a whole new level. The presentation, attention to detail of the way they prepare peking duck is an art form.

The restaurant is pretty quiet every time I go there with my family. In my opinion they have the best peking duck in the whole Santa Clara/Alameda County, always moist with crunchy skin and reasonable price for the duck. All other dishes are pretty good but peking duck is our favorite!

Quiet place but great food sweet sour soup , soy sauce fried noodles --ordered most simple Chinese food , tasting so delicious , how do they do that? !thanks ,chef!

Our takeout order was 30 minutes late. This was our first time trying this restaurant, so not sure if it's a one-off, or not. The generals chicken, and fried rice were both pretty tasty. The wanton soup was a little bland.

Paid 60 Dollars for a small plate of duck. Complete overpriced. Do not order take out from here. Better off going to Ranch 99

Even if they may seem closed, call them to check. Got there at noon and the doors were locked and chained. They opened at 12:15 p.m.

Their service needs to improve but they serve the best peking duck I have ever tasted in my life including all those 5-star hotel restaurants. Definately worth tying! but be patient! Hahhaaa

We work nearby & dining here ( take out since pandemic) is such a treat. Splurged on duck & it comes w sauce, scallions, cucumber & thin wraps- great proportions of skin to meat to fat. And some veggies to balance the splurge. Really nice service, we've enjoyed chow fun & other dishes from here too.

Love the Peking Duck. We always order other items for lunch the next day. Yumm

I usually order the five spices crispy or tea smoked duck, along with the cornish hen stuffed with rice and some 炒面. I also tried the pineapple duck, which has a decent sweet & sour sauce. They do it all reasonably well. For me, some things are less impressive than others, such as the fried rice, but it is the case for most restaurants. Service is also decent, considering there's only one waitress/receptionist.

The food is good so as the service.

Surprisingly good; the dishes were nuanced and tasteful (although half duck portion was a bit small). After Taste in downtown PA decided to inflate its prices (and now they are truly egregious), I think this is the best value-for-money Chinese food in Palo Alto.
