A classic Philz coffee nestled in the quaint neighborhood known as Midtown. There’s plenty of outdoor patio seating and a small parking lot. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected fire next door, it burned the establishments to the right and left of it. :( Looking forward to sipping on a mint mojito or an iced chocolate in the near future.

While the coffee itself wasn't the best I've ever had, the location and atmosphere of Philz cafe made up for it. If you're in the midtown area and looking for a spot to grab a quick coffee, it's worth checking out. Just don't expect to be blown away by the quality of the coffee itself.

I'm not that much a coffee drinker but Philz has a soft place in my heart. The iced mint mojito is my go to drink on a hot day. Love the flavor.

A solid Philz location with friendly staff and tons of nice outdoor seating. I like how I could get every roast as a half-caf and had lots of options on how I wanted to cream and sugar it. I'm removing a star because on a Saturday at 10AM, they receive a ton of web orders and you will have to wait 10 minutes for a coffee and reheated pastry, so I'd recommend going somewhere less busy.

Staff was friendly and nice. Fun music playing. Cafe was small so the space was crowded. Parking lot is ridiculously small and spaces are tight so I had to park on the street. Decaf was a bit dark and rich for my liking.

They brew a great cup of coffee, their menu might not be as big as their competitors but the final product is worth the wait.

After many visits to the area I was so delighted to find this jewel. Thank goodness for indie coffee houses. Great selection and they know how to make a proper cup a joe. Awesome crew to boot.

I’m discovering a very beautiful place near the midtown Palo Alto, new to me, Philz Coffee shop. Maybe known by many already - it’s an oasis of calm and fresh Hawaiian feeling, not because they served Hawaiian style meats, but only because I observed a real banana looking flower hanging from a palm-tree!There are wonderful people who are providing a very good service and nice atmosphere to the place. Even there might be line you will not feel the tight, enough space for everyone. This place, where anyone can seat and relaxed under the canopy of green trees crowns intertwined with the leggy acacia bushes, offered you such a colorful space of calmness and to some extent a protection from a busy world out there! Even it is actually located on the corner of two medially busy streets! I’m seating at the caramel color table, on a dark teal metal chair. It’s cool to the touch and on this warm Summer day it provides me some nice breezy feeling, as if I’m at sea.I enjoyed my freshly baked Turkey sausage and egg on a English muffin sandwich with a reach aromatic Philharmonic hot coffee! I like the name of it as it is depicting the founder name, Phil, and it indeed provides you harmony! I learned today that coffee’s harmony could arrived not only from fragrant rich coffee beans, but also could be matched by a pinch of cardamom and a fresh mint leaves, that are happily swim in the cup!People come here to relax or work, meet freinds and play games, setup a meeting with coworkers or just enjoy the time with their pets. Philz Coffee shop even has a whole big jar with treats for your dog friends and it feels very sweet inside the shop, even if you don’t add any sweets to your coffee! ?Philz Coffee choices of small snacks are good and you can choose from a Ancho Chili, bacon and egg or Pork sausage burrito, Plant-based sandwich or Turkey sausage and egg, sandwich. They also serve a variety of pastries and brownies. By 6:00 pm though there were no pastries left.I can only wish they will have more options such as a Turkey sausage and egg on a bed of greens, or 2 cheese slices with an egg in between, then it will give more options for anyone who follows a Low Carbohydrates lifestyle.I drank my small cup of coffee at 6:00 pm and it helped me going for almost 10 hours! Next time I have to be a bit wiser and drink such a strong coffee no later then 2:00 pm though. ??I’m definitely will come here again and next time I’m also planning to purchase their coffee beans. It’s a lovely place to come and I enjoyed the ambiance very much!
