Definitely not as good as the store in SF. Order something else because this sandwich will be extra DRY.

Ordered the extra spicy fried chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce add-on and side of herby slaw. The chicken had some spice, but really lacked texture and crunch. Where the photos show beautiful crispy fried chicken with flakey, crunchy crust, this seems like it was dipped in thin, wet batter which left the chicken smooth with little crunch. The sauce was a nice add-on and the pickles and slaw on the bun made up for some lack of crunch. The side of herby slaw had some nice mint and herb freshness but lacked in overall flavor. It seemed like the veggies watered down the dressing after sitting hours before being served. Overall pretty meh for a fried chicken sandwich.

Pretty decent chicken at Local Kitchens. Somewhat bummed that they got rid of the old chicken sandwich, the new one is smaller and pricier.

Until the stupid service fee is removed, I won't be ordering from this restaurant anymore. It's not about the cost of it, it's just the idea of adding unnecessary fee this fee that. We're paying tip for starters, so why the additional fees?

Very disappointing $20 spent on 3 pieces of sub par chicken

It was nasty and not fresh at all , I’ve been to the one in San Francisco which was delicious. The one in Palo Alto was not a stand alone it was one place serving 10 different restaurants

Best place to visit if you are a sandwich lover.

Good food and quick service.

Love the sandwiches here, especially the flipped chicken one. The salads are great and the dressing is delicious.The fried chicken dinner was great too, though the biscuit was a bit dry (still tasty though). The sauce it was served with was super good and spicy.It’s a little pricey but they have a decent rewards system and often send coupons via text if you sign up. It’s probably the best chicken you can get late night in the peninsula, and the location is pretty easy to get to. Plus I love that you can get anything from their multiple in-house restaurants in the same order. Would definitely recommend!

The chicken and tofu are both very crispy and delicious, highly recommend.
