Great place, food, and overall experience especially for reservations with large parties. Be aware that it can be noisy but overall wonderful time.
A delicious experience with our family, the food is elevated Mexican done correctly. Outstanding tequila collection as well.
Amazing food, server a little confused but another one (woman with curly hair) handled situation and helped. She made great recommendations and everything came quickly. Expensive but worth it.
From the moment we walked in, the GM, Angel, made us feel welcome. We were a party of six. We each got different entrees so we could share/compare. They were all fantastic. Great dinner, something for everyone.
Reposado is a great restaurant in downtown Palo Alto. Service is A+. Food is great, an elevated approach to Mexican fare. Perfect for date nights, family dinners, and special events.
Really good place to get south if the border flavors in an upscale and delicious way. I had the salmon that was cooked 👌 and had great flavor with an excellent presentation. Another party had the flank steak. But that was disappointing in the cook and flavor was rather pedestrian. But all in all a good experience and I will go back!
Always a wonderful experience to visit this place. The drinks are lovely and food is nice.
We've been coming to Reposado since it opened.... I don't like the ways in which it's changed. The menu is smaller and has too many dishes that are made with what I call "fake food." I believe in eating less meat, but I much prefer vegetarian dishes without soyrizo and other manufactured foods. The poblano that I split with my husband was OK, but I'd prefer the chile poblano at a cheap "regular" Mexican restaurant.
We had to return the ceviche for being old and smelly Salmon was ok but not high quality and very small for the price in general the portions were small for the price I use to go there years back I think the vibe is not there and menus are not good
The steak was delicious - very flavorful. The skinny margarita was also great (and I don't usually order margaritas) - I recommend getting the bigger size.

The food is okay, not good, not terrible. The guacamole was clearly pre-packaged. The ceviche had nice flavor but the fish was not fresh. This is a high priced Mexican cuisine restaurant, so I'd say the value is poor. I think the word is out on Reposado because it was a beautiful Thursday and there were less than a dozen people having lunch.
We were seated right away in a booth. Our server came by just after that to take our drinks order. Reposado offered us a varied and exciting brunch menu, or you could also order idd their lunch menu. We split an elote corn on the cob to start and it was delicious - perfectly roasted corn and tasty seasoning, cheese and cilantro mince. The drinks were well-crafted with fresh ingredients. I had the Mula Oaxiqueña, a smokey concoction of mezcal, passion fruit, lime juice, ginger beer and muddled cucumber - a twist oon the Moscow Mule, and it was quite good. We all had the same main - huevos Oaxiqueños - two fried eggs atop a corn tortilla with mole poblano, sliced avocados, bacon, black beans, queso fresco, and home fries with with a little roasted red pepper bits. I particularly liked their mole as usually I am not a big fan. We had banana cake à la mode with honey/caramel sauce for dessert and found it a delicious pairing. Another in our party enjoyed the helados/gelatos. We also enjoyed the ambience - a large, double height room with colorful, bold framed modern art on the walls, a long central bar with big screen tv's (Spanish soccer match playing when we were there).
So disappointed. Best things about this place were our wonderful server and the ease of finding gluten-free stuff. Worst thing? Too loud, of course. Prices were reasonable given the location. Food was made with fresh ingredients, but distinctly underwhelming. Octopus and shrimp appetizer was boring - shrimp had no delicious grilliness. My cochinita pibil made me sad. It tasted like boring shredded pork, instead of something smoky and wonderful cooked for a long time in a banana leaf with bitter oranges and achiote. It was delivered in a watery bland state. The tofu was better! The cadillac margarita was a let-down.
The four of us ate practically all the appetizers and 2 entrees . It was all amazing and the waitress was fantastic!
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Unbeatable guacamole and chips. Wish the Margaritas were as big as they used to be!
