I was somewhat worried when I read on the review about the mediocre service but I really wanted to try it since they opened. So I booked for our anniversary. Food was very good albeit priceyas expected. Had a craving for caviar so I splurged. The conservatory was amazing. They also had 2 outdoor patios which one could buy drinks and enjoy outside but it's not a highly advertised activity which is their loss. I am go back to do just that... during the day. Our server Sohpie was fantastic. Knowledgeable about the menu, came back to check on us. My only thing was the the hostess put us at, in my opinion the worse table in the house, even though we had a 5pm reservation and the restaurant is only 30% full. But I rectified that problem. Guess you can't be afraid to speak up for yourself.

There are so many tables are available but they didn’t let me seat and just tell me to wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes and when I check in again, she just said you just wait for 10 minutes, still need to wait until 1h and 30 minutes, the attitude is so awful. She traded me was so differently compared to others. And when I leave 5 minutes, then I receive the text messages said the table is ready. Will not go there anymore because of her attitude

I’ve been to the RH in Yountville & this my first time here at this location and in my opinion it is better than the one in Yountville.
Everything from the amazing mimosas, veuve clicquot, crispy artichoke, kale caesar salad, eggs benedict to the lobster roll was superb.
Berkan is the best server around and made sure we felt like his only customers.
Thank you so much to Berkan for making our friend’s birthday celebration memorable. The entire experience was fantastic, and we highly recommend this beautiful restaurant to anyone.

I recently dined at RH Rooftop Restaurant in Palo Alto and found it to be a delightful experience. The interior decoration is stunning—chic and bright, with plenty of natural light that creates an inviting atmosphere.
As for the food, the burger was somewhat mediocre, lacking the flavor I hoped for. However, the Eggs Benedict and Swedish pancakes were both quite good and showcased the kitchen's strengths.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit. The ambiance and presentation made it worthwhile, even if the burger didn’t quite hit the mark. I would recommend it for a lovely brunch outing!

One of the most ridiculous experiences I've had in a long time. Went as a walk in for 2 people at 10.30am on a Saturday. The restaurant was literally 75% empty, but the maitre d said they didn't take walk ins as it was probably going to get pretty busy soon. Get a grip RH, given the ratings you've already received for the restaurant, you might want to be a bit more customer friendly.
We've been to the RH locations in Napa and San Francisco, so we had an idea of what to expect. The ambiance and setup here were in line with other RH spaces—beautifully understated and refined, with food options that included some seasonal variations.
The food was enjoyable, but what truly made our experience memorable was our server, Andrew. He was a breath of fresh air—warm, attentive, sweet, and exceptionally professional. We dine out often, and our experiences are largely shaped by the person taking care of us. We can’t wait to return and hope Andrew will be there to welcome us again.
Parking is convenient and plentiful, as the restaurant is located within Stanford Shopping Mall.

The food was tasty, though the menu is standard grill options with nothing unique. Ambiance was great, very nice decor and atmosphere.
Our experience was let down by the service, and whilst the staff were friendly it felt too disjointed with a number of slips. The appetizer came without plates, the entrees were brought out before the table was cleared, it took 5mins to tell us the selected wine was unavailable, and the wrong entree was served.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful! The moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by the stunning decor and ambiance—it’s truly to die for. Every detail, from the lighting to the furniture and greenery, is meticulously curated. You can tell that no small detail was overlooked, and the overall effect is breathtaking.
The food matched the atmosphere in every way—delicious and thoughtfully presented. I ordered the mini lobster rolls with caviar, and they were exceptional. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with each bite blending beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-executed the dish was, proving that the food is just as refined as the surroundings.
If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s as much about the environment as it is about the food, this place won’t disappoint. Restoration Hardware Rooftop in Palo Alto offers a perfect blend of elegance and flavor, making it a memorable spot. Highly recommend!

We came for a reservation and waited almost an hour to get our mains which seemed like a long time given that the table next to us, who was seated at the same time as us, had their food out and everything within 30 minutes and left even before we got our food. The wait could be bearable if the food is at least good, but the food was the worst part of our experience.
Charred ribeye actually came out burnt, and the grilled shrimp was burnt and rubbery. We ended up not finishing both of them.
We told the server who was empathetic, which was nice of her, but for the price point we’re paying for good food and service, which we did not get. We won’t be coming back.

Having a cocktail or coffee on the 3rd floor can be disappointing, in particular on the weekend. Too many dirty dishes everywhere, not enough places to sit, very busy. Not enough staff. A reservation for the restaurant is the best way to go.

Restoration Hardware offers an undeniably stunning setting, but the lack of an open kitchen strips the space of the liveliness you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber, making it feel more like an upscale café. The caviar lobster roll was a decadent treat, and the mashed potatoes were velvety smooth and comforting. The ribeye was well-executed, but the absence of accompanying sauces felt like a missed opportunity to elevate the dish. Sadly, the broccolini was oversalted to the point of distraction.
The service, however, leaves much to be desired. Plates remained uncleared far too long, and new courses were delivered to a cluttered table, which is inexcusable at this price. Wait times between courses stretched uncomfortably, and dessert arrived before silverware—an odd oversight. For the cost of the meal, you might expect a free Restoration Hardware couch thrown in to ease the wait. On a related note, the picturesque outside balconies, a highlight of the space, are wasted without the option to dine there. It’s hard to believe such prime real estate is reserved solely for sipping drinks.
Despite these hiccups, the server’s warmth helped soften the experience, but the overall service needs to step up if they want to match the luxurious aesthetic of the space.
