Not sure why this place is so popular. Dishes are fancy and well presented, but aren’t very tasty. Service is also slow. not worth it, especially for the price… will not be

Fantastic dining experience! It’s an upscale Indian restaurant serving delicious food. Tried dahi puri, paneer chili roll and potato tikki chaat & absolutely loved it. Excellent for a date night. We will surely be coming back.

This place went from good to bad. Really bad!Starting with the table. Even after having a reservation, we were given a corner table outside without proper heating. The service is mediocre, drinks are nothing but watered down artificial syrups, curries have the kind of spice that will cause you heartburn and naan has a weird rubbery texture. It completely spoiled our anniversary dinner.

Rooh is a great place for fine dining experience. They have a variety of Indian vegetarian dishes. I recommend their pinwheel paneer. Service is quick and efficient.

Today we came to Rooh after couple years! It has lost its charm. The food was cold when bought to us. Menu said something and the order turned out to be something else. Really really

$450 for a party of 5 for extremely sub par Indian food! Not one of the dish tasted good. Not sure what the craze is. Maybe they offer better non vegetarian food but I highly doubt that.4 vegetarians and 1 vegan left feeling totally dissatisfied. The appetizers and small plates were super tiny. The curries lacked flavour and depth that Indian curries need. Even the mocktails were terrible. When we asked why they tasted off the waiter admitted they were canned. Save yourself the trouble and cook at home!We got charged for 2 still water even though we got one. But the waiter assured he emptied one whole bottle in the beginning? Not sure about that but we can give the benefit of the doubt. Would have been nice to have some transparency here. The service was also extremely slow. The drinks alone took over 20 mins to come.Avoid this place at all costs if your are a vegetarian/vegan. Per person average of $100 and we don't even feel full. ??

Delicious progressive Indian food in a gorgeous space. It can get a little loud.
Me and my husband go here fairly regularly. However, this time unfortunately one of the food items we got was stale. We’d ordered lamb shank biryani and the ‘lamb shank’ was stale while the rest of biryani was good. We let the server know about just the lamb shank being stale. The server, from what looks like checked with her colleague, came back to us and verbatim ‘We cook fresh everyday and this shank is good’ with a whole bunch of attitude. While she suggested she can replace, we didn’t appreciate the service and definitely nor the condescending attitude from the server. Not that we’re trying to stiff Rooh for some free food here clearly. Not something you’d expect from Rooh. Some of the servers need some better service skills.

We came here for our valentine's dinner on the day before Valentine's day. Definitely need to reserve before going. Ambience is great as always. Service could be better, there were no pleasantries, was hard to catch hold of a waiter and the dishes took forever to come. This time we tried the tandoori chicken bomba, paneer pinwheel with some naans. The Bomba was interesting and the paneer pinwheel was amazing. You can definitely come here for a special occasion as it is on the pricier side.

The food was ok at best, the chili prawns were too rubbery and another plate was too hard to even cut and we showed it to the server. The garlic Naan was basic and you have to pay 3$ for chutney after ordering appetizers worth at least 15-20$. The service was pretty good and the ambiance was nice but wouldn't go back.
