I had dinner at Araki yesterday. The next morning, I experienced diarrhea. I’m concerned about the food safety and freshness, and I hope the restaurant can improve in this area.

Awesome lunch spot, huge chunks of sashimi, great portions, came out quick

All rolls are great in quality. Fresh and tasty. Price is very reasonable for such a quality and location. Although beef udon is large in portion, it is not japanese authentic style since it has too many types of vegetables being added.

Our favorite local sushi place. The inside of the restaurant isn’t overly fancy but the freshness of the sushi outweighs! The monkey brain appetizer is our absolute favorite.

Good sushi for a decent price, especially with Bay Area prices! I love ordering their party platters, which have something for everyone.

Excellent sushi! Caterpillar roll, spicy tuna, rock roll, and the salmon sushi are all top notch. All fresh, delicious. Great service. Highly recommended.

It was so hot inside the ac was definitely not on, so we decided not to stay. They initially refused service in front of entire restaurant because I had a trained service dog. The waitress was the only one who had enough sense to stand up for us and to say that “you can’t refuse service.”
Heads up It’s illegal to do that in the USA
Too bad we will be looking for another sushi/ udon spot

I didn’t have lunch or dinner there, but when I entered an EMPTY restaurant, and Asked to use the toilet they said customers only, so, I told them to sell me something so I can pass their entrance requirements, they said reservations only. Tough place to get into…

The sushi was decent—not the best I’ve had, but good enough for a casual meal. Unfortunately, the overall experience left a bad impression. I accidentally left my phone behind and returned shortly after to retrieve it. I asked the staff multiple times, and they insisted no phone had been turned in. After going in and out of the restaurant about three times, I finally called my phone from the front desk—and to my surprise, the ringer came from underneath their front desk.

It made for a very awkward moment. The staff handed it over but claimed they didn’t know it was there, which didn’t sit right with me. Whether it was negligence or something else, the situation felt uncomfortable and left me uneasy. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning. It’s a shame, as the food had potential.

Lovely spot for a nice meal! Service is extremely fast and everything I have eaten here is very yummy and reasonably priced. No complaints whatsoever and highly recommended especially since the area is so lovely 💚

This place is so overrated and the staff are super rude. Food is terrible and if you don't tip enough then the staff will complain about it.
