Our dinner was excellent - sea bass & gnocchi. Our server - Becca was outstanding. The prices of wine on the wine list are an unbelievable value. Only a slight increase over retail - not the 2 or 3X increase in most restaurants. The best bang for the buck I have experienced in a long time.

Very nice experience, servers at bar and table were helpful and polite. I had the corn soup and lamb and it was excellent. Glad to go back the next time.

Easy to park and can eat in or outdoors with a heater, food is excellent, hard to find any issues!

We enjoy St. Michael's Alley, done here a couple of times a year and will continue to do so. The service was excellent. But the food was not quite up to our prior experiences. I usually have fish with good results. I ordered the duck this time which was overcooked and tough.

We loved the octopus appetizer. Drinks were competitively priced. My scallops and risotto were very tasty.

Tiny room with larger group when it was my wife and I Completely overwhelmed our conversation when other table was chatting

The portions were scant for the price. Our octopus appetizer had little slivers of octopus leaving us to wonder what the point was. For some reason, the mushroom sauce on the NY Strip tasted like popcorn. My partner and I thought it may have to do with the level of butter. I would not recommend the steaks here, for the price you should go elsewhere for steak. My partner liked their lamb. The service was wonderful.

I had never tried branzino before (and usually don't try new things) but the way our server Abby described it made me say ok! And it was really nice with a lemony finish. Mushroom cakes were delicious. For dessert I had the peach bread pudding and the crème anglaise was delicious with the fresh peaches. Abby was attentive at just the right times and showed up with a smile.

There's been a notable decline in the quality of food and service. Water glasses both had lipstick on them, the butter bowl had visible dust on top, the ceaser salad both looked old and tasted mushy, the muscles were cold, and the sauce on the filet had coagulated and was almost gelatinous. Sadly would no longer recommend, but used to be a local favorite.

Another great anniversary celebration at Saint Michael's Alley! It's so kind that the servers remember us each year. Looking forward to many more celebrations.

Opentable Diner

Although old patrons of St.Mike's, we were very disappointed when we brought friends there last night. The seafood-linguine special had precisely two shrimp and two clams, the flavoring two heavy, and the pieces of onion 1 inch square in come cases. The lamb was over-done and not especially flavorful. Given the price of the dishes, we wished we'd chosen somewhere else for this special dinner. We had to ask twice for the bill at the end of the meal.

Lovely experience. They accommodated my request for a quiet corner table. Superb customer service over the phone and at the restaurant. Will come again.

Our table liked the fish dishes- salmon and the scallops (though they were initially undercooked and not warm so sent back) and then we really enjoyed them with nice risotto. There were problems with our bill overcharging us nearly $ 70 and it took three attempts to take off the wrong amount and we still aren't sure why it happened.

Over the past few years, St. Mike's has become our new first choice for an evening out. The cooking is excellent, the menu variety outstanding and for those of us who mostly eat fish, the options are always first rate. We have had a few regular servers during, and they have always been attentive and efficient. Their corkage fee is mostly reasonable, though perhaps they could adjust if we mix up both cocktails/wine from their menu and our own.

We ordered the grilled octopus and we were dissatisfied with it. There were no signs of grilling and the texture was overly chewy. My lamb was ok, but underseasoned. The service was the highpoint, but $200 for a drink each, app and dinner, the value was not there.
