best korean food in south bay hands down. their side dishes are super good.my only criticism is that they can use stone bowl for rice. but this is very costly and timely so I totally understand.

I used to order takeout from this place a lot and liked the food. But we stopped in person today and was sorely disappointed. Before 12 noon on Saturday, there was a line outside the restaurant already, waiting for it to open. Good sign I thought. The staff started taking orders even.We were among the first batch of customers to be seated. But the good things stopped there. we ordered the soft tofu soup, edamame and bulgogi. Half an hour gone by. No food. Meanwhile the table next to us has gotten the soft tofu soup, not liking it, sending it back, and had a new one made. We still don’t have ours. I eventually asked our waitress. Magically 5 minutes after I asked, food came up.When we were ready to leave, the waitress apologized and said she couldn’t find our order. So she needs to re-create our order and check us out manually. The chaos ..The price at this place is also getting out of control. It’s a no frill kind of place but not “no frill” price. The edamame my kid ordered was $8 alone ..I’ll try somewhere else next time. It’s unfortunate because the staff seem well intentioned, but clueless on how to handle a small volume of customers.

Authentic Korean food, good service, love their Tofu soup! This place is always busy, be ready to wait in line for a bit, but the wait is always worth it!

Tried the soft tofu (fish egg) for the first time and was amazed with it. Also the supplement dishes on the table were amazing without exception. Note: medium spice is good enough, anything higher might overwhelm you but decide for yourself of

I would give negative 5 stars if I could. I used to love the food here but everytime I order Jabchae, it comes with pieces of metals of plastic. There are a lot of reviews on here with similar issues, the food safety and handling is extremely poor, sometimes will even give food poisoning. I do not recommend eating here, concrete rocks, metal wires and plastics are generously added to their food.

We come here at least once a month, definitely the best tofu stew in the Bay Area and on par with popular shops in LA too. They always bring food quickly, unlimited tasty banchan and their pricing is fair.
