I love this place. The salads and the sandwiches are so good and fresh with so many options. They also have GF bread options and GF chocolate chip cookies, which I appreciate as someone who is gluten-sensitive.

Best Brunch in Palo Alto! We got the eggs Benedict and cardamom coffee cake. Also really great salads. I especially love the Nutty Rooster!

Located on University Ave just two doors from the popular (and often a line) Sweet Maple , and arguably serving a better variety of menu items for both breakfast and lunch, the delightful Sprout Cafe provides excellent and attentive service. I loved my Chelsea Benedict with avocado and mushrooms, and my partner enjoyed his stack of buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh berries. We shared their signature cardamom coffee bun (like a pull apart or monkey bread) just to try it... Delicious! They had their door open and sidewalk sign out to draw in passers by, which made it a bit chilly inside, and they were clearly doing a brisk takeout business. But we were left wondering why people haven't discovered this great spot for a casual breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

Today we visited Sprout Cafe for a late breakfast at 10:30am. We were seated quickly for a party of 8. Their menu consists of a variety of unique dishes and staple breakfast items. The food was delicious and their pastries are also worth a try. The customer service was top-notch. Our servers Roberto, Domingo, Jose were very responsive and provided excellent customer service. We will definitely be coming back to try other dishes and desserts!! P.S that have Cholula hot sauce at the table.. it’s the little things!

The Maverick benedict and pancakes were yummy. The portions were also very generous for the Bay Area.

This is one of our favorite breakfast restaurants! The food is so fresh and the service is excellent. The waiters are always so accommodating and very courteous. We love their cinnamon /cardamon roll and if you’re here on Saturday or Sunday, they give you a complimentary one if you’re an early bird or until it runs out. I highly recommend this gem!!
