I got breakfast burrito. Which was decent. I would have given it 7.5/10. But I give 6.5
the price was ridiculous. It was just burrito and 5 mixed green leaves in the smallest box possible(not joking, literally 5 big leaves) and it costed around 25.
We can do much much better in Bay Area for that price. There are tons of good places.
Also the salsa was meh 🫤
I think for that money it’s not worth it. Otherwise

I visited this spot for brunch with my family, and while the food was tasty, the service left much to be desired. We ordered the French toast, carnitas hash, and the carnitas plate—though the tortillas that were supposed to come with the carnitas plate never arrived. We also ordered a hot chocolate, which we never received.
Additionally, I requested an umbrella for shade, and although our waitress assured me it would be taken care of, she never returned to follow up or check on us. While the food was enjoyable, the lack of attention and service made for a disappointing experience. Maybe the busy Sunday rush played a part, but overall, it wasn’t the best dining experience.

The food is definitely well made, but the extra high price tag doesn’t seem warranted. Food quality is about on par with restaurants that charge roughly half what Son of Wolf does.
We got the mahi-mahi tacos — you get 2 tacos for ~$30, which is insane to me as the tacos are not very big and don’t have a ton of fish on them. The fish was well cooked, but a little bland for my taste.
The carnitas plate was decent, though I think it would’ve been better crisped up as some places do. The cilantro salsa was excellent. Again, the portions were kind of small for $36, given that pork shoulder is relatively cheap, and the food was nothing mind-blowing.
Ambience was nice and the food was well made, but honestly there are about a hundred restaurants in Palo Alto with better food at this price point.

Great margaritas, and authentic flavors
Surprisingly good. Friendly service.
Superior food - we had a wide selection of dishes, and it was hard to pick the best. The cocktails are very good but STRONG! This restaurant goes on our roster of favorite local places.

The pasole was tasty as hell, but they are very stingy with the soup quantity and it’s barely half of the bowl.
Nacho chips were over-fried and bit overdone. Quite an expensive place.

I value the care that they put into each and every dish. The tortilla chips (and tortillas) are handmade (and delicious). Even the happy hour dishes are amazing! Meatballs, crafted to perfection. What a culinary experience.
