Sundance The Steakhouse

Took my husband there for his birthday. We love Sundance and always look forward to going. Great dinner for my hubby, his favorite Fillet steak with all of the trimmings. They even brought him their scrumptious mud pie , on the house and Ozzie, the friendly bartender made his perfect martinis for us!

Service was very good. It felt like we were filed away in the back room. $84 ribeye steak was very disappointing. Don't mind the price but definitely want the quality for the price. Chicken marsala was average.

The food was excellent and the service was amazing!! I celebrated my birthday and felt very special.

I absolutely love Sundance. The food is incredible, and the service is outstanding every single time. 10/10 I highly recommend this restaurant.

Tom was our server. Amazing attention to our table while he had many others. I believe he's been our server before. We were celebrating my husband's birthday on 4/24. It was a busy Thursday with many other celebrations at the restaurant in his section. He took his time with each table and he showed such knowledge of the menu and the specials! The food was excellent and never disappoints. Thank you, Tom for a great experience!

Prime Rib was cooked perfect. Delicious baked potato. We were there for happy hour at 4pm, then dinner at 5pm. Staff were super nice and accommodating.

Prime rib is outstanding. Brought to table exactly how we ordered - rare and medium rare. Creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes excellent. Carrots and broccoli cooked and flavored to perfection. Wait staff very attentive and kind.

Definitely our favorite restaurant in the bay area! We love going to Sundance - the food never fails and the service is over the top!! Every meal we've had here is a beautiful, memorable experience.

Amazing mushrooms! I would make a whole plate of dumplings for this little dish of vinegar! ! Nothing else is outstanding, and the beef is not as good as SF's prime rib.
The human density in the store is comparable to that of Metro Line 1. Parking targets old and broken alleys.

Sat at the bar for lunch. Steak was pretty awesome. Martini was great. Bartender was kind, funny, and able to help everybody.

This Prime Rib was ordered 10 minutes to kitchen closing time. They insisted it was fine to order that late. Totally certified Prime Rib experts because the staff was honest that they can't offer rare at that hour, but for sure a solid medium rare. It arrived with perfect consistency from edge to edge. Still quite tender and moist. The staff never rushed me. Even offered me to try the Creamed Spinach with Tabasco sauce. Which was an amazing recommendation. So good and added depth. One of the best Prime Rib establishments around! I need to revisit earlier in the day for a rare cut.

Ordered the Prime Rib and was amazing!! However in the times we’ve gone, issues have arisen on which level of roast, sometimes we’ve received a predominantly grey rare prime rib or a cherry red medium rare.

Parking: They have an available parking lot for Sundance customers, and I’d consider space available unless it’s a full house.

I'll try to cover basics. Parking full. Like super full. Place is popular and well attended. Inside needs sprucing up. Old worn out chairs were a huge turn off for me. Food is upper end OK, nothing to rave about. Just literally came from Europe, where we ate some of the best steaks in life, and this wasn't on that level. It was good, genuinely good food, but not amazing. Please forgive me. Trying to be honest. Overall, like the place, I can see myself going there again. They are certainly better than most in the Bay area.
