While it’s a beautiful place and great location, I wasn’t particularly blown away by the food. It really might be what I ordered but for 30 dollars with the substitutions the Gardena soufflé is really underwhelming. But the dishes my friend ordered as well as dishes on tables near us looked much more flavorful and interesting so I’m not docking much from my rating. But overall i left a little disappointed. I would recommend trying something besides the soufflés as I suspect that’s where I made my mistake.

Get the bacon. Any bacon. If you're not eating bacon, there are a million places in Palo Alto to get an acai bowl or something. But if you want bacon, this is the place. Bacon.

They don’t take reservations, and we had a bit of a wait. Once seated the service was quick. We ordered the kids pancake, garden soufflé egg skillet and the blueberry mochi waffle. Everything was delicious and 5 stars all round. Possibly the best brunch we’ve tried recently.

This place is really really hyped up. Is it worth it ? Meh. My mother got the Oscar’s Benedict , I got the papaya salad and we also got the fried corn. All was good, the food was fresh, and the portions were very generous. So, why did I only give it three stars ? Because the service was pretty horrible. Our server , who I shall not name but apparent initials are “M. F” did not come to our table after about fifteen minutes of sitting outside. I had to ask the host if and when we would be greeted. When he came to the table he was rushed and almost irritated. He took our order, no pleasantries, no apologies. We had to ask for almost everything including refills on coffee. Had the service been better I could’ve probably rated this place a four or a five but I would highly recommend that management hire more engaged staff . So a 3 it is!
Our go-to brunch spot at Stanford. The ingredients are fresh and meals are delicious. Favorites are: loco moco, gardena soufflegg, thai cioppino, blueberry moffle, iced ube latte. Highly recommend, but avoid peak times b/c they'll be a line.
