Overrated spot. These were the priciest tacos I've ever had, and far from the best. I'd suggest looking for other options.

? ? ? Spacious restaurant in downtown Palo Alto with a variety of different tacos, plenty of vegetarian options. I had the lunch special which is 2 tacos of your choice and a soup or salad. I recommend the fish taco. The salad was fresh and tasty but the soup looks good too. The free chips and salsa were also super tasty. It’s a solid lunch spot in the area.
Had the lunch special two tacos and soup. The soup is hearty with big pieces of chicken and avacado and an egg. The two tacos I had were Carnitas ,, nice and crispy bits of meat and the

Lunch was a great experience! Salsa & chips came right out when we were seated; guacamole was fresh. The taco options are diverse but pair nicely: the Vampiro and Mushroom Carnitas were delicious. The house-made organic corn tortillas hold the ingredients well but are still soft and flavorful, as good as it gets for what is a complex recipe to prepare. The margaritas were well balanced albeit a little high priced for lunch. I loved the outdoor seating; it was unique, durable, and even with the narrow sidewalk we felt comfortable and cozy. Service was proper for the lunch crowd, looking forward to a happy hour here one day.
What a place! Straight forward tacos with fabulous meat and flavors. Great selection of cocktails and beer. And amazingly fresh guacamole and cheese dips. What more do you want?
Tacolicious gets it right starting from the name. They are not trying to be any fancy Mexican cuisine. They are not shy about being a straightforward tacqueria / cantina. The interior and the vibes support this well. But Tacolicious does this with fresh style and modernism. I love the fact that they keep their menu simple and stay focused.
The nacho chips are fresh and tasty just by itself. Combine this with genuinely fresh guacamole and their "amazing" and supposedly naughty cheese dip and you're already happy. The tacos are flavorful - would highly recommend the Baja-Style Fish and Spicy Shrimp. Also don't forget to try their churros - again, crisp, chewy and freshly made.
Tacolicious is a phenomenal addition to Palo Alto downtown. Great for families, friends, and just to have a fun time all around. Clean, modern, yet authentic. Absolutely a gem.

Service was very slow, despite all tables around us being tended to regularly. Food was fine but nothing exceptional. There was a small piece of fish in my food (cross contamination) and this is very disappointing considering I'm a vegetarian.
Service was poor. We waited over 10 minutes to get our drink order in and then the waitress was awkward with how she asked people what they wanted. Not friendly or warm. She seemed annoyed. Tacos came out on one big platter, and the tortillas were chewy.
3 of us stopped by here weeks back for some tacos. We were seated outdoors. We ordered the 4 Taco combo with one Fish, Beef and 2 chicken Tacos. The fish was the best of all. You also get large selection of dips and spicy sauces. However I found the portions too small for the price.

Got one potato and one mushroom, the mushroom was exceptional- a bit on the greasy side but excellent texture and flavor. I also loved the bite on the tortillas and they were the perfect thickness. I thought the tacos would be larger for the price but they filled me up

Very average food, but friendly service and cozy seating.
Moss mocktail - made too sour when I asked for a less sweet drink
Mushroom tacos - delicious but wayyy too spicy
Carrot tacos - flavorful but the texture of the carrot put me off. It should have been softer
Cookies served in the end were of poor quality.
Chips and salsa and guac were all nice though.
Went there for an easy quick lunch. Lunch special 2 tacos and tiny side salad cost more than the normal lunch(2 tacos) in their menu, confusing. They didn't know what beer they had that was rotating when asked. Food was decent to good but that's about it.
Pretty bummed about the experience.

Not trying to be rude, but these are legit some of the worst tacos I’ve ever had in my life. Not anywhere near authentic Mexican tacos. Low quality ingredients and not seasoned appropriately. Service was pretty good though.

Didn't know it was a sports bar. The blasting soccer game made it hard to hear people at the table, including those immediately next to me. Good cocktails, food was delicious, but I had to go searching for it. My food was placed at the other end of the table on communal plates and nobody knew! I want my food placed in front of me please and to eat it while hot. I think everyone does.
We were group of 12 people getting together for a dinner with families. Place is great for smaller or larger groups. However, music was loud and it was difficult to hear the person other than the one next to you. We ordered Taco Tuesday and it came as a self made kit with 6 hard tacos shells. It was impossible to eat as it was getting broken the second you bite into it and no substitutes were possible. Was very hard to get of the waiter's attention and we had to just call random waiters passing by. Had to ask for everything and not only once.
