I am sharing my experience to warn future event coordinators of the unreliability and lack of professionalism from this bakery.
On Nov 9 I submitted through this bakery’s website a quote for a custom cake and cookies for pickup on Nov 29. I received a quote from the baker Monica via email on Nov 11. Via this same email chain I accepted Monica’s quote the same day, and explicitly asked her to please move forward with the order.
Come Nov 25th, I emailed the bakery via the same email chain to check on the status of my order. Monica responded with only one sentence:
“I am sorry but I didn’t hear back from you so I don’t have an order for you.”
She wrote this despite the same email chain containing a written record of the order I previously placed.
I responded to Monica with a follow-up email referencing the order in the email chain and asking if she could try to make something work since it was so close to the pickup date; Monica never responded. I was ultimately forced to scramble for last minute arrangements with another bakery.
It’s one thing to apologize for accidentally letting an order to slip through the cracks, but it’s another to absolve yourself of any responsibility by claiming you’ve never received an order when the written record shows otherwise. I am extremely disappointed by the customer service of this bakery.

I ordered a custom set of cookies for a family members baby gender reveal and they turned out absolutely perfect! Not only were they beautifully designed and exactly what we were hoping for, but they also tasted amazing, which isn’t always the case with decorated cookies! The attention to detail was incredible and you could really tell how much care went into each one. The cookies were such a hit at the party and we will definitely be ordering again! Thank you so much for helping make our reveal so special!

Yesterday I purchased the guava coffee cake and tiramisu from The Kibler Elf at the Italian Festival in San Jose. Delicious!!! I can't wait to have more of their products. Yum yum yum yum yum!

Ordered a custom cake on 4/24 to be delivered on 05/7 to my son's university for his 21 st bday. I live in Florida therefore, I was relying on a friend to meet Monica so that my son could be surprised. The first picture below is the reference picture of the custom cake that I ordered and the second picture is the actual cake that was delivered. Monica, was completely unprofessional with her delivery. Monica, agreed to send me a picture of the cake prior to delivering it and she never did. I had to email her, text her and call her just so that she could answer my call with an extremely rude tone and even argued with me about the delivery time. She was at the delivery site without notifying or confirming her exact delivery time. I had to hurry and scramble for someone to accept the cake from her. TO make matters worst the cake tasted awful- it was hard and almost not edible! This was a really bad experience and if I could give this place a 0/10- I would have. This cake cost me $185 and the delivery cost $40 WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!

I have ordered a few different cookie decorating kits from The Kibler Elf now. They are wonderful for my daughter’s class parties! The cookies are delicious and the kids love it! Monica is wonderful to work with. I am a repeat customer for a reason!

I wanted a special birthday cake for my wife and told Monica the general idea. She turned my idea into made a beautiful cake (I supplied the edible maj jong tiles) that was so delicious. The cake was a big hit with all our guests. She was very easy to work with and I highly recommend her!
