Warm, friendly, reasonably priced, and excellent wines & bites! This is a fabulous down-to-earth spot in a town that doesn't always feel that way. Plus, the mellow live music vibe rounds this space out to be the perfect destination for a glass or two with friends. Vino Locale is my go-to wine spot in Palo Alto.

Both good selection of wines, beers, and non alcoholic drinks. We always look forward to getting together there. I love their new Frose' - very refreshing, and yummy.

The atmosphere was great! I was really looking forward to eating and drinking and relaxing here. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the eggplant dip and grape leaves. However, the brie with persian cherries and strawberries sounded better tasting than it was in reality. I hate to complain about service, but we were looking forward to having a few drinks. After finishing our first glass of wine, we waited about 40 minutes for someone to check on us. Meanwhile, several other tables were being assisted around us. We would have stayed to have more food and drink, but had other plans, so had to leave with less wine in us than we had planned, due to the lack of service.

Yummy food and live music on the back patio. It's easy to talk with the crowd noise and music. Food and service makes it feel very personable. Also the bartender is a gem!

A. Nice atmosphere in the backyard and the authentic American House makes Displays special. The food is excellent but a little bit extensive for what you will get. A little bit more than average service with the nice people, but they are very stressed because sometimes the restaurant is quite full.
On nice days you better make a reservation otherwise you will be rejected to have a table.

Nice wine menu with outstanding wines. The bacon wrapped fig was scrumptious. While the Brussels sprouts with bacon needed a bit more sauté. Make sure to have a reservation, they seemed slightly short staffed so they were probably limiting seats. Also check their hours, they close oddly way too early for what is a bit more wine-bar-ish than restaurant. That said they do have some nice sounding entrees but my group only ordered appetizers.
