This visit was very disappointing. The last time I came here was on September 10, when my friend brought me for the first time. I was really impressed with the drink quality back then — I even told my friend it was the best boba drink I’d had in the Bay Area in six years.
Today, I came back and ordered the same drink, but the quality was nowhere near the same. The tea had no sweetness or flavor. it tasted very bland. Even worse, the boba was hard and difficult to chew.
Last time I visited, it was during a busy rush but everything was perfect. Since today was slow, did I end up getting an old batch of ingredients?
This bad quality should not be in Stanford mall
The best bubble tea shop. Quality tea. Originally from Taiwan and very popular there because they use natural ingredients. Lots of non caffeinated drinks too. We love their taro milk and Aiyu jelly lemon tea (a traditional Taiwanese jelly made out of healthy Aiyu seed). My only complaint is their ordering system online. That stupid web based tool only allows for one topping. They really need to fix this.
Drink was good until all of the sudden I felt something sharp on my tongue while drinking and chewing on the jelly. Felt around my tongue and found a sharp bristle stuck on my tongue. Looks like a hair, but it was definitely not. It might be a part of a brush with metal bristles. Crazy, I almost swallowed this. Be careful with the drinks from here.
Best strength and flavor tea around- recommend the “tea lattes” for the fresher milk flavor. Definitely has issues with long waits, but that’s understandable given the location; Placing order ahead is great!
Every time I try to go here they are out of boba. Like hello you’re a boba shop?! Don’t go here unless you want to wake up early to get boba at 10am because they’ll be sold out every other time.
I like their boba and is my fav at the Stanford mall. But the line is ridiculously long so go when you have plenty of time (reason for 4 star vs 5). Can even place order, check out a store and come back to pick up
Place seems quality and looks it but the drink was horrible unfortunately. Felt watered down and the boba was hardish
barley milk w aiyu, yea
Super soft boba, great tea flavors.

The shop looks cool and smells like high quality tea. The drink itself lacked flavor and was too milky. The cups were huge as well.
Great tea shop. Real tea and authentic.
bad service
Amazing how they brought authentic bubble tea here!! The taste wasn’t compromised yet they still have mobile order so that we can order and explore at the same time!
Ordered a hot taro milk tea but was given taro milk instead with no tea. The taro paste was cold with hot milk and made me feel sick after drinking. This is disappointing quality for a highly rated boba shop!
