Great meal at Wildseed. The appetizers were fantastic - mushroom fritters and the crispy brussel sprouts - as was the main entree, the curry dish. Service was friendly and efficient. Very good experience overall and I will be sure to come back.
Fresh, delicious, farm-to-table eats with attentive service and a beautiful, quaint setting adorned with lush, happy plants with a Vegan-friendly menu, too? Someone pinch me. A must try! You'll fall in love, just like I did. Visit every time I go back home to Palo Alto. 5 stars...maybe 6, even ;)
I love Wildseed in Palo Alto. Unfortunately, this time (and my only time) where I was disappointed with my entree. I love their Wildseed burger and now it's called the Veggie Burger, but the fries that I have always loved were over salted to the point where I couldn't eat them and I have always finished my fries. Been going there since they opened and hopefully, this was a one time incident. My other guests enjoyed their food. One guest with my party had the same dish as me and felt the same about things being heavily salted. I will try again because once out of the many visits I have eaten at Wildseed isn't enough to stop me from going. It just didn't leave me "wowing" from the food.
We had a lovely dinner starting with the Brussel Sprouts (which have a bit of a kick thanks to the plant-based bacon). The Hawaiian pizza was wonderful (especially if you enjoy jalapenos - if not, just ask them not to add them). The butternut squash was outstanding. Our dining companions liked the spicy curry, but not so much the Masala bowl. The Albarino was a great wine to go with our meal.
Flawless and fair value. Wildseed are creative without pretense They just want to give you a delightful, fulfilling vegan meal.
Following server's recommendations was right on - it was all delicious. The beet poke in particular was amazing.
We were two omnivores who enjoyed our dinner. We had very tasty Crispy Brussels Sprouts with smoked tempeh bacon, pickled ginger, with a ginger miso glaze. We liked the Beet Salad with arugula, pickled fennel, citrus, farro, savory oats, and coconut yogurt vinaigrette, though the beets were straight from the refrigerator and a bit too cold. We shared the Peruvian hodo soy tofu skewer which was flavor-filled with huge trumpet mushrooms, sweet potato, red onion and a really tasty bean raguot. We were impressed by the wide variety of wines by the glass, including a delicious (if pricey) Sancerre. And of course, they sell bottles too. We had the warm chocolate cake, which was somewhat molten in the middle which worked well with the dollup of coconut cream cheese mousse.
For reasons undetermined, our order was placed, but then it took nearly an hour to be served. Our waitress was terrific, apologized for whatever mixup occurred in the kitchen, and she comped the check. Fortunately, we were sitting outside, it was a beautiful day, the conversation was good, and we didn't mind the wait. The mushroom burgers, when they came eventually, were excellent.
The food was good. One of our orders came incorrect so we had to wait so it was redone. But the noise was too much..
First time at Wildseed and it was wonderful. The food was incredible...as were the cocktails. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

Great vegan restaurant for spending time with family. Service was excellent and the items there were delicious. Highly recommend.
The food quality here is very good and the vegetarian dishes are very creatives. I had the mushroom fritters which were light, fluffy and very tasty.
Great food, ambience, service and very reasonable prices!

Excellent seared brussels sprouts appetizer. Orecchiette and Fall pizza were very good vegetarian interpretations.
Compared to its counterpart at SFO, the quality of the food here is definitely not as good. We ordered the curried cauliflower which tasted amazing at the SFO location . Here the sauce was salty and scanty plus the cauliflower was undercooked. The spicy curry bowl was watery and the wild rice was also undercooked . Overall very disappointed with the flavors here. Seating is also cramped and it’s super loud. However the service was prompt and good.
