A breezy little hike in Palos Verdes, we made our way to Yellow Vase, along with what felt like half the South Bay. It was surprisingly packed for a weekday, but then again it was around lunch hour. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. Not terrible, just unexpected.
The cashier wasn't rude per se, but let's just say enthusiasm wasn't on the menu. We all gravitated toward classic brunch fare, and I played it safe with an omelet. It was tasty... I think....

The location is beautiful but it is looking a little tired. It needs to be refreshed. The service was very slow. It took over 15 mins to order with only 2 people in front. The food was average.

We're so fortunate to have the Yellow Vase in our neighborhood and in this space. It's truly a gathering place for the community. Very consistent cooking, batista drinks, and baked goods.
