This is a crazy story but about a year, maybe two years ago max, my family and I went to eat here on an afternoon where an armed gunman was out on Roscoe. The waitresses working that day acted quickly, courageously, and kindly as they stepped up to guide us all toward safety. We hid until the man was apprehended by the police, and honestly for a moment so out there, it showed the adaptability and awareness of the staff. I don't know their names or if they're still at this location, but they made that day better despite the initial terror. Our food has always been delicious here and prepared timely, and overall I have no complaints.

They don’t want to take orders. Does the owner even know. I called at 12:42am to place an order and the lady that answered said they were closed. It seems the workers are lazy.

Great service and great food. Today's server was doing a great job, memorizing orders perfectly and communicating clearly with us about the short wait time for our final to-do order, which was no issue at all and appreciated.

I had an order for take out at 1:30am. My server was just the right amount of friendly. When I walked thru the door, she immediately made me feel welcome as if I was a family member. I ordered the Grand slam burrito which I have never had before and it was great. They should have had that on the menu a long time ago. I think that one will be a classic menu item for years to come. I had also ordered the avocado bacon burger for a friend of mine and they said that was the best burger they've had in a very long time. She happened to have ordered hash browns instead of french fries with her meal and her hash browns were cooked perfectly they weren't too too crispy and they were definitely not soft and soggy like other Denny's restaurants like to make. The price was a little high for me but keeping up with inflation I guess it was decent. I will definitely be returning to this location because I felt at home here and I didn't have to wait long at all for my food to eat cooked.
