The best barbeque I've ever had...The brisket is sooo good.

I have been dining here since at least 1986. This restaurant in my opinion has the best Beef Ribs I have ever tasted. The sides are very delicious like the BBQ Beans and others. Nit the most fancy if places however the food is what it's all about. I Highly Recomend Dr Hogly Wogly's BBQ Restaurant. Bon Appetite

This place has decent barbecue. Definitely well priced and you get a good bang for your buck. Unlike a lot of other barbecue places that are skimping on their meat portions lately.

I feel like they don’t really season their meat. They slow smoke it perfectly, but the actual meat itself doesn’t have a lot of seasoning or flavor. There’s a sweetness to it so they must put something, but it’s not much and lacked flavor. Dipping it in the barbecue sauce though helped with that.

It is extremely juicy, so if that’s what you like you will love that factor. For me it was too juicy. They put everything in one big tinfoil wrapping, which I’m not opposed to, but created a big puddle of juice at the bottom where the brisket was at. The brisket was so full of juice, which would’ve been a great thing and had the juice contained seasoning flavor. Instead, it was just kind of sweet. I prefer the barbecue sauce to be sweet, not the meat itself.

Overall, the meat was cooked perfectly and was very tender. This place has beef rib plates that come with two other meats besides the beef ribs for the same price as other places charged for just one big beef rib (dinosaur rib). So this place definitely has a lot of value for its food portions.

Was it worth trying, absolutely. Will I make the trip out there just for this place, probably not.

Food was good, my favorite is there brisket , macaroni salad and BBQ beans with her warm loaf. Service could have been better, unfortunately it wasn't that comfortable to seat 5. Next time I'll get it to go.

Bad customer service and unsatisfactory food. The side dishes are absolutely disgusting. The fries used to be the best side meal but now that is nasty. The food tasted like someone sprayed cleaning solution on them.

Ordered to go. Beef Ribs Combo. Extra meats was Spare Ribs and Brisket. Food was on time and still hot when I got it home. They have cut back since I was last there in 2025. Yet they are charging alot more for food now. My total was 44 dollars. The spare ribs were tiny and one piece looked like a burnt end, but was edible. The brisket was tender as well. Beef Ribs were good but not very much meat on them. The 1/2 loaf of bread looked like a smashed dinner roll. Overall the meal was good but not sure 44 dollars was worth it. There was very little traffic in the restaurant itself. The Hostess was pleasant as well.
