I should have Yelped BEFORE going. Everything previously said, 100% accurate. The food tasted good, the prices need a touch with reality. I wasn't going to write a review because the prices are posted and we chose to pay for it even though they were clearly steep. What made me write the review was two interactions that really left a bad taste in my experience. After ordering the food, a $19.99 plate, 3 empanadas and a cup of tap water, the bill came out to $40. This caught me off guard and I was trying to figure out how this was possible. Meanwhile the cashier made sure to heavily point out 3-4 times that there's a section for tipping on the screen (eeeek!). I decided to go ahead and pay and just look at the receipt afterwards. When I got the receipt, it wasn't itemized so I did the math and it just didn't add up. When I went back to the cashier and let her know it wasn't adding up, she informed me that they charge for the cup of tap water!?! It came off as a bit dishonest to me. Overall we're super disappointed because we were really looking forward to trying this place. Had I read the reviews prior to going, I would have just gone to Porto's where I can enjoy slightly better quality food, more variety, reasonable prices, and convenient locations.
