Rodriguez Taco Shop

I don't like to do this to a family run business but I feel like they're doing this to themselves. The lady at the cash register is very cheap, she'll give you 2 napkins with a meal for 4 people, not to mention she'll police the salsa like it's a national treasure. The ingredients, portions and quality are average at best. The rest of her family working there are a bit better but the combined customer service and personality is very abrasive. I don't wish for them to go out of business, but after going there over 50 times, I must respect myself and stop going. Much better options in the area with better customer service. The owner of a business is usually the number 1 reason for the demise of their establishment.

Amazing carne asada !! Best in the panorama City period. I work nearby and come 3-4 times a week. Every dish is amazing. The red and green salsas are sooo gooooood!! Come eat here. Support local businesses even if you have to buy a drink along with your meal!

It was early mid morning on a Saturday so it definitely wasn't too busy. Upon walking in I was greeted with a smile. I ordered the Three Taco Plate special that included a taco consisted of a Carnitas, Al Pastor & Carne Asada, Rice and Beans, Chips. I was the only one there so the atmosphere was nice. I enjoyed the food and would not hesitate to return for another Taco.

Highly disappointed, We visited for our lunch break today. Which we usually visit about 2 to 3 times per week. We ordered 4 meals along with beverages except for my meal, I asked for a cup of water. Lady at cash register tells me, you have to pay for water. She would not give me a cup of iced tap water. I said ma'am we're dining in your restaurant. She refused and I had to beg her along with my friend to please give me ONE cup of water. It was so disheartening having to beg for a cup of tap water from this restaurant when we purchased 4 meals for dine in and only asked for 1 cup of water for myself. Thank you to my friend who stood up for me.Cemiches Mexican restaurant is right across the street with friendly service, they serve delicious food with a complimentary glass of water.

I have been a loyal customer here since their previous location, since they have changed business name, the service is not good here the lady at the register has no customer service skills. I have experienced this on many occasions but today was the worst. It always seem to bother her that I order my shrimp tostada without onions.
My group of 4 each ordered meals and she refused to give us water. She said she had no tap water to give. We asked what do they make their aguas frescas with and it was said tap water is used. Thats gross. It is good enough for aguas frescas but not good enough to serve as tap. I have never in my life been denied a cup of water at a restaurant. I'm going to miss my weekly tostada but I will not be missing the horrible customer service. PS if you make her mad she will charge you for a to go bag and a to go salsa, I have experienced this as well.

This is one of my favorite Mexican fiid places. I come here to eat Menudo, Chicken Quesadillas are amazing, the Shrimp Cocteles are delicious too. The desserts are sooooo good. I ordered a Gelatina fir Easter and The lady Beatriz puts her heart into her desserts. The Jericalla is the best. I highly recommend to get your party food here and desserts. Love this place. ❤️

This was my first time that I entered the Rodriguez Taco Shop. I really felt like having some good tasting Menudo so I asked if the menudo they serve has hominy and they said no. I should have turned around and gone somewhere else for my menudo but I decided to order two carne asada taco combo meal. I was expecting two freshly fried tacos instead they use pre fried taco shells that were cold, the carne asado cold, rice and beans were also cold. The portion of food they served is good, looks exactly like their photo menus. The price I paid for the food was good. I do not think it was pricey at all. The restaurant is very clean. But...
I like my food that I order served hot. When I try a place for the first time I go by first impression and I was not impressed by my cold food. I would not recommend this place to my family or friends.
