Our food didn't seem to take too long compared to the other couple that was there waiting. My husband and I got Carne Asada Tacos, rice and beans. The beans were cold, the rice was ok seemed to be missing flavor and the asada was dry like it was a few days old. We couldn't add enough salsa to it. Regret not going to the one next to it.

Stopped here for breakfast burritos. Mine: chorizo. Husband's: ham. They were stellar -- took a bit for our order but that's because these were absolutely made to order. Definitely stop here if you're driving I5 and avoid the chain food monotony.

Came here on our trip back to San Francisco. This rest area has a lot of food options but I was looking for something other than fast food. Saw this food truck w tables, shade, and patrons. Why not! I ordered 4 tacos and they're solid. Tender, flavorful meat. Soft tortilla. Hot sauce provided. Exactly what ur looking for when you're in the mood for a taco truck lunch. Recommend!

I have been going to Los Algodones for more than 15 years. Every trip we spend a little time and money in El Paraiso. This is the first time I have had a problem. We had a few drinks and some nachos, we split the bill $44.00 with me putting in a $20.00 bill and my friends putting in 2 $20s. The waiter gave the money to a third party (money women) who did a little slight of hand and gave us $6.00 change. She tried to show us that she only had been given $50.00, It was a scam. I have had this happen in other Mexican cities but never here before. So now I treat this like all others, pay as you go do not run a tab!
Pupusas were really good, 5 stars. We had chicharon and pork with cheese and both were delicious. Corn tamales and all the tacos we ordered (Pastor, Asada and Birria) were so so. Giving it less stars due to our order getting mixed up with someone's order so we waited for 30 mins to get ours enduring the 102 degree temp! They also gave my elote to the other person and just refunded me. No salsa on the go at all. In my opinion, only go for pupusas.

We go to this place every time we visit Los Algodones because it's right up the street (walking distance) from our hotel.

The food was very good. The wait staff very nice and friendly. The margaritas were great. They don’t tell you no credit cards until you go to pay. 3 shrimp tacos, beans and rice with a margarita was $12. Good prices.
Good Food I love the tacos here so excited that they are now open until 6:00
