Had a pollo asado torta, was really tasty the only thing I wish it had was a little more spice to that but that’s just my opinion.

Slow service, they have busy afternoons, especially right now when it's raining. Very delicious pot coffee and classic churros, made on the spot. First time I go....and if I come back.
Let me preface this by saying: if you're looking for an authentic and delicious taste of Mexican tradition, look no further than Horchateria Rio Luna! This charming spot had me hooked from the moment I stepped inside.First up, the star of the show: the horchata frappe. Creamy, dreamy, and perfectly spiced, it transported me to a tropical paradise with every sip. It was the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, with a hint of cinnamon that lingered on the palate beautifully. I could see myself enjoying this on a hot summer day, but honestly, it was so good I couldn't resist finishing it even under the February sun.Next, I ventured into the realm of caffeinated delights with the cafe de olla. This traditional coffee, brewed with cinnamon and piloncillo (unrefined brown sugar), was pure comfort in a cup. The aroma was intoxicating, and the flavor was warm, rich, and slightly sweet. It was the perfect pick-me-up without being overly strong, and the cinnamon added a cozy touch that felt perfect for the season. But the grand finale, the one that sent my taste buds into a happy dance, was the churro sundae. Imagine this: warm, crispy churros bathed in a pool of creamy vanilla ice cream, drizzled with decadent cajeta sauce, and sprinkled with cinnamon goodness. Every bite was an explosion of textures and flavors, the warm churros complementing the cool ice cream perfectly. It was the perfect ending to a truly delightful experience.Beyond the food, the ambiance at Rio Luna was inviting and authentic. The décor transported me to a quaint Mexican village, and the friendly staff made me feel welcome and at ease.If you're looking for a taste of Mexico that's both authentic and delicious, look no further than Horchateria Rio Luna. I give it five stars and a heartfelt recommendation!P.S. Don't forget to ask for extra churros with your sundae. You won't regret it!Check me out on IG @the_avid_glutton_foodie
This place is a gem. I’ve driven by so many times not thinking much of it. I was in awe walking in… The place is great for coffee with friends, a quick brunch, and it’s even inviting to bring out the laptop and get some work done while enjoying a yummy cafe de olla. The artwork and merch is great to appreciate. Will definitely be going back.
