I absolutely loved my visit! I went for my birthday, and Noelly went above and beyond for my guest and myself. We got attended very quickly, the food was to die for! I will definitely be coming back. Not so sure what the negative reviews are talking about. Everything exceeded my expectations, I can’t wait for them to open up again ! This is a must try. You will not regret it ! Saludos

It's a hit and miss with their food and they continue to change their hours of operation that you never know when they are actually open. Very disappointing.

Food was warm and delicious. Not many alcoholic drink options for now I guess. Sanitizers on all tables.

I know I rarely go to Mexican restaurants because my mom's Mexican foods is always better. You wanna know who always goes to Mexican restaurants ......My mom super weird right. I always ask her why do you want to go to Mexican restaurants when you cook Mexican food all day long. This is what she replied " I like going to Mexican restaurants to figure out the different spices they put in their food so I can make it at home" Ain't that something ! Here she is researching ha ! So let me walk you down our experience at this restaurant. Half of the parking lot is filled with a beautiful patio that looks like so much work to have to do every day's and night . I mean I think they had like 25 tables ,tents, lights , trees and music ! The whole 9 yards. They let us know that it really pops off at night time. They did have non-meat options which made me very happy. I've got the cheese enchiladas with three different kinds of Mole yummy .My mom got some kind of a chicken soup that she would not stop ranting and raving about. Let's not forget dessert we did get churros too .All around my experience was perfect our waitress was the best and I'll be glad to go back to this restaurant. Keep up the good work

The outside eating are has a lot of flies, we order our food to go.. to find out it had hairs.. long hairs in the food. Also if you call they tell you its the same as LA DIOSA DE LOS MOLES which used to be there but its definitely not the same. Really poor customer service. And they didn't know how to handle the hair complaint.. Also one of the very few local restaurants that after inflating prices. They also added a covid 19 free to every check?!! So pay attention to that if you chose this place..

The food was delicious and the workers were friendly and prompt for how busy they were. The only downside was that there were a few flies, but we were outside and there's only so much they could have done. The michelada de Tamarindo was bomb. The enchiladas in red sauce was spicy for me, but delicious. My boyfriend loved his fajitas and the tortillas were yummy ?.

Amazing customer service, our waiter was very nice and helpful. The menu list wasn't too long or short, it was just right. Our breakfast came in about 10 minutes later, we didn't have to wait such a long time! Presentation wasn't phenomenal, you're getting the real deal here. You can taste the freshness in the orange juice and the food. My waffle was certainly both beautiful on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Overall very delicious and filling breakfast. I never can finish my breakfast but this time I did, it wasn't too much or too little. The Mexican papitas were delicious too! I'll definitely be coming back soon thank you!

It is no longer operated by Chef Rocio. Her business partner took over due to COVID-19. We visited on a Sunday morning and it was busy, so busy our food took longer than normal wait time and it honestly was not worth the wait. They got my husband's order wrong and then took an additional 15 minutes to bring back the "correct" item which was missing the egg (it was a breakfast sandwich). So sad to see how COVID has affected what once was a great authentic Mexican restaurant. Now it's a Mexican fusion at best. The staff was nice, and perhaps the new menu will draw in the younger crowd.

Two of the hardest things for a chef to make perfectly is Risotto and Mole! It is as hard as splitting a hydrogen atom (if not harder). I'm talking serious calculus here or at least, an incredible chef with experience, touch and patience; you must possess these three qualities to pull this "Perfect" feat off. I've had both prefect risotto and perfect mole: The perfect risotto was at Osteria La Caletta in Tellaro, Italy and the perfect Mole was here in Downey, CA at La Diosa Cantina. Now, I've had really great Mole in my day. My mother-in-laws 100 year old Mole family recipe is very high on my "Best Mole" list also is Pujol in Mexico City and El Papucho Mexican in San Jose, CA But, nothing compared to the excellence of my Three Mole Enchiladas last night here at La Diosa. The three enchiladas come to you looking like a Mexican rainbow. The Oaxaqueno (House Mole) is this rich chocolate brown, the Alanchamanteles (Spicey) is this deep orange and the Morita (Exotic Mole) is the bright green. Each one has a unique flavor. This dish just knocked me out!!!! We also had a terrific Ceviche a bunch of beers and one of the most original and incredible dessert I've ever had - Pan De Elote. I live in Encino / San Fernando Valley. So, coming to La Diosa Cocina is a 100 mile round trip. Most people, including myself wouldn't take on this task for one meal. But, after tonight, this is my "Go To" Mexican restaurant in SoCal - PERIOD

The food was okay my husband had the steak. My coworker told me about this place. She said the Mole was delicious unfortunately due to COVID the menu has change. They only have a couple of dishes with Mole. I was disappointed with my mole dish. I was also charged $2.39 service fee charge (Due to Covid-19) it's not about the mount it's self. It's the fact that we were not informed.
