I'm a returning customer . I alway come here this is a spot me and my girl always come to after to a night out of drinking . I've never had an issue till today . I arrived and everything was going fine until they were taking longer than usual which was fine but when I got my tacos they were just plain cold , when I addressed it to to one of the girls that was our server she immediately took the plate without hesitation and not a word was said . I continued to wait and when she came back I noticed All they did was microwave my tacos which was a disappointment honestly , I then confronted them and told them if they can make me some new tacos , when they came back . I noticed all they did was put the same tacos they gave me from the start on the grill . Total disappointment. Horrible service

I've had it 3 times, each time it was consistently mediocre. Not terribly expensive but little pricey for the quality though. Nice servers. Clean enough place. Food was just ok. Portions were great so that made the price more acceptable.

Restaurant is a descent size and they have a parking lot and available parking in the street. Our waitress was very nice and on top of it. After placing our order food came out pretty quick but after reading on the hyped reviews on the food I was not impressed. The tostada de Jaiba did taste better than it looked but still lacked flavor along with the Ceviche de Pescado (tasted too fishy) Ceviche de Camaron was good. The Coctel de Camaron was better after adding ketchup in it which the server (not waitress) looked bothered when I asked for ketchup. I hate feeling like I insult ppls food when I have to add more S&P or anything to give it more flavor but if I'm the one paying for it. Anyway.... the coctel was ok. Taco de Marlin was a win. All in all I wasn't impressed but to each there own. If you're a seafood fan like I am I say give it a try.

I always order to-go. And the guy that helps me each time is the best server. He is always smiling and friendly. And very helpful. I ask for extras condiments and he always gives it with a smile. The food is super tasty. I always get ceviche with tacos with shrimp and carne asada. I promise you, you won't regret the shrimp taco. The only thing that sucks is it's cash only. They have an ATM but it's still annoying. This is my new go to spot for ceviche!

Mariscos, mariscos, mariscos, I love them all.so much that I have more than 60 bottles of sauce for mariscos. There's many types of recipes but all of them are unique in their own way, so let's get started. On 2019 I got a referral to try Mariscos el viejon me being a seafood lover, I glanced at the restaurant pictures to see if it would convince me to take the drive and eat there. Thank god for my good instincts, arriving at the Lynwood location on a saturday with no customer lines got me a bit nervous. As we entered to be seated I glanced at the kitchen door and saw a couple of older ladies peeling shrimp and talking to each other enjoying their work. I made the writing decision. That day I ordered many of their items and was shocked on how good their food was, look I have tried coctel de camaron with clamato, orange soda, shrimp skin and vegetables broth , oily base broth similar to caldo de pescado, with agua de coco , hot, cold etc. Over time I have gone to Mariscos el viejon Lynwood location many times seeing their quality of food diminish similar to what happened to el perihuete. Last year Invited a special person to have lunch with me at the Lynwood location since they have never disappoint me but unfortunately they did. That day the food was food was terrible, camarron was over cook, callo de acha had the plastic flavor, they couldn't make me a salsa negra marisquera, etc .it was so bad that didn't visit mariscos el viejon for more than a year. This weekend I decided to go over to the paramount location and give it a try, they did not disappoint. I ordered the campechana, tacos el viejon, ostiones preparados, tostada de camarones, michelada and the house salsa negra marisquera. La campechana looked regular until I tried the broth. It was made with vegetables, shrimp skin, a hint of coconut water and a perfectly cut small boxy cucumber with no seeds, my favorite. La campechana was a bit more expensive at $19.50 compared to other places going around $16.00 but well worth it. El taco el viejon $4.50 was well made with asada, shrimp and cheese. Not a wow factor but good it its way. The 1/2 dz of oistinones preparados $19.25 were like I remembered, just delicious. I tried to order the tostada mixta but they ran out of callo de acha, not the first time they ran out so I ordered the tostada de camaron $12.00. I noticed they don't clean the shrimp guts but hey that's their recipe. This time they charged me for the salsa negra marisquera $2.50. I wish they had a bottle like the rest of the other restaurants. La Michelada $11.00 was done right. They added salt, pepper, clamato, lime, beer, worcestershire sauce, but I would change the salt to Sal de grano, added a bit of tapatio and a hint of salsa maggi. Service was great except when the lady left me and went to eat in a corner. This place deserves 5/5 stars but today I will give this place a 4/5 and here are my reasons. I saw the person in the kitchen window licked his thumb and grab the food tray, no surprise to see that since their food is so delicious but i don't want to see that. The bus boy cleaned the table next to us and proceeded to clean the seats with the same cloth. Hopefully this will help new customers and please add a negra salsa bottle in the future.
