Loved this place! Service is excellent and I particularly liked the salad bar-like hot pot area rather than having to order soooo much of everything. I (and my kids) always waste so much food (and spend sooo much more money) at the traditional hot pot places you cook the food yourself. If you like hot pot, but don't want to cook your own food (like a sucker ;), I highly recommend this cute little place!

I went here with my significant other and it was a great experience. Upon arriving there, the cashier asked us if it was our first time and it was. He explained the way it works, and after making our order, the food was great. The place was quiet and not busy which was very relaxing for my partner and I. But I must mention that I was literally thinking about this place the day after because of how good the food is.

I have came here 4 times so far. The soup base is delicious. The choices of meats and veggies is awesome. Staff is nice. This is my go to spot for hotpot. Keep up the good work

great spot for a quick and easy hotpot fix! you make your own bowls, which i like, and they have many of the usual hotpot items. however, they only had two kinds of meats when i went during lunch on a weekday - understandable as it was peak lunchtime for many who work in the area so my suggestion would be to plan accordingly! cost of the bowl is by pound, so you fill your bowl with your desired items, weigh your bowl and choose your soup base, pay, then they bring it to the back to cook for you. as you find your seating, you can enjoy passionfruit tea and make your sauce from the sauce bar - both included in the price! service was quick, they bring out your bowl to your table

5-pot was okay. It is self-serve ramen and what I mean by that is that you select your own veggies and meat and they charge you at the end by the lb (not including the soup). There's not too many items to choose from but you will get a standard treatment. They will have beef chicken lamb slices -hotpot style thin and charge you around 15.99 per lb. Sometimes the soup won't cook everything as some items like hard bead curd take longer to cook. There's 3 types of broth, original, bone, and something else. There is ONE bathroom so you will have to take turns with people. They accept credit card. The waitress is friendly, prompt, and accommodating like any other normal place. Parking is tricky as this is old town Pasadena. There are maybe 5-8 slots in front of the restaurant but it's competing with other restaurants/shops. My best advice is either park down by Green Street and walk over (free parking after 6pm or something check the sign) or park at the Target or the side streets of target. I'm not sure if there is EV charging (I don't think they do). This place is okay for an average so so ramen place if you don't intend to drive to locations with more competitive asian restaurants. The size of the restaurant is small to mid sized with maybe 6-8 tables seating 4 each. Not loud, somewhat bright ambience. It will be on the corner of a street going down Colorado blvd. Just slow down when you're nearing Target. It's easy to miss.

This is like the ramen version of Mongolian bbq. With to s of options, there’s something for everyone - vegetarian, meat, fish, etc. Fast service and tasty.

Awful. Website ordering is unclear, so our 2 lb hot pot order arrived with no broth. We made our own, which wasn't horrible surprisingly, but all the accompaniments that did arrive were unedible, with the exception of the beef and the noodles - (noodles looked straight out of an 89 cent top ramen package). No idea why this has good reviews. A complete waste of $40. We threw it all away.

I've been to a few of these pay per weight hotpot spots and I feel this one has the freshest ingredients. Item selection was pretty decent and everything was clean. I only got 1 lb worth of veggies and meat and I actually was reasonably full. I tried out both the tomato and original broth, can say you can't go wrong with either. Sauce bar was decent with a small selection of ingredients like sesame, soy sauce, sriracha, chilies, green onions, and garlic. Also they had complimentary passion fruit tea which was super awesome. Overall I enjoyed this spot and as long as you don't go crazy with ingredients I feel it's reasonably priced. At the time of writing this, price is $15.99/lb which is on par with the other pay by weight spots I've been too. The restaurant itself is pretty small with maybe 10ish tables. Only two employees when I came, one chef, one server but server was sweet and very helpful. I'd come again!

Great food and service! They even provide complimentary tea and the staff is always friendly. If only they could use the A/C a little more often... sometimes it feels a little muggy in there. We love the hot pot, not the hot pits.

A phenomenal array of vegetables, fish balls, noodles, meat and fish to fill your bowl: I tried half bone broth and half spicy broth, and the taste was perfection. The deal is (and the welcoming staff will be glad to explain,) you choose what you want (it's well marked,) fill a bowl with your choices, select a broth, add some condiments, help yourself to free tea and lemon water, and the kitchen will turn your choices into a delectable hot pot. The restaurant is spotless, the staff lovely, and the taste authentic. Our party of Asian food enthusiasts was unanimous in our praise. Of course with all of the choices, it's possible to overload your bowl, but I spent less that $20 and couldn't be happier. A tremendous addition to Pasadena's ever expanding affordable culinary wonderland!

If you love malatang like I do and dislike spicy. This is the best place for you! They also offer healthier version than other places as they don't put msg in their broth. Okay, most of my friends have claimed, their broth is not as tasty as other places, but that's the power of msg. Lol It's dangerous and addicting, but don't consume too much so your body won't get used to it They also offer delivery service through DoorDash and fantuan. The place is quiet small but intimate, they play good c-pop music as well. Friendly and helpful staff!

Food is great! Would definitely hit the spot if ever you're craving for some hot pot. The staff were also nice, and always making sure that we are happy with our order. I wish the place was bigger + a few other hot pot option would be great. But all in all, I would recommend the place!

$14.99 per pound for ANY food item. Great value in my opinion. I got 1lb of food including a noodle block. I was very very stuffed at the end. I'll come back. Glad we finally have some decent Chinese food in Pasadena.

Create your own hot pot bowl and they'll cook it. 15.99/lb and choice of broth style. They give you huge bowls so it's actually tons of food and easy to share. Great new spot and definitely will come back!
