The place had a line but it went quickly and my Americano came quickly as well. Nothing was special about the coffee. The area, Old Pasadena was cool, though. That was the best part.

I very much enjoyed their matcha latte. It seems like they use high quality matcha and I liked their matcha to milk ratio. The latte had a vibrant green color and tasted very smooth. You can order it unsweetened or sweetened. I prefer lightly sweetened.

I gave this place 4 stars because your experience there depends on a barista you get that day. Most of their baristas are great, however I had a pretty bad experience with young blond female barista with shoulder-length hair. My drink wasn’t made right (I know it because I have been ordering that drink from them for years), and I politely asked to remake it. She got angry and quickly made a drink that was as sweet as a syrup. It got me nauseated very quickly and I had to leave...
