Amigos is our go-to Mexican takeout restaurant in Pasadena. If my husband likes the beans and rice, it’s a winner, and Amigos definitely delivers. We especially enjoy their crispy beef tacos! That’s our favorite. Their soups are also very good. I especially love when spring and summer roll around for their fish ceviche, one of my favorites, paired with a Jamaica. When my son is in town, he always requests to go there, which says a lot. The staff is always smiling and friendly....

My husband and I have been coming here for years and the food is delicious. Their soups are the best in town, and so fresh. Chips and salsa - very good. The restaurant is decent-sized. It’s not a fancy high-end restaurant as far as decor goes, but it’s always clean and very acceptable as a family restaurant to meet up with a friend, family, etc. Parking in back, but on the smaller size. Can usually find street parking on side street. Staff has always been friendly, pleasant...

Some listen. Maybe I got food poisoning here 27 times. What matters is that I've come back more than 28 times since. I'm not going to blow smoke up your keister you should come here when you're high. Be nice to the staff. They're all great. A stiff Margarita awaits you and if you're a doofus a stiff right hand, we'll find you as well. This place is an institution. It's been here forever and 17 days. When I don't know what to do. I come here....
