Sad to find out this place is gone! I was really happy with such a good study spot that had an aesthetic light ambiance. It had matcha lattes like no other... not to mention the best spicy salmon hand rolls I've ever had. Art+Science Cafe is the pure reason I keep searching for the perfect spicy salmon hand rolls only for me to discover that I've already had it and it to no longer exists. Thanks for the delicious times and good service you've provided.

The service, the beverages, the food, and even the ambience sets this cafe apart! I really enjoyed my time here. Lovely staff, and my morning was blessed by beautiful Christian music, which they play in the first hour of opening. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet place to work with yummy drinks & treats, ART + SCIENCE Cafe is the place to go!!!

Really love this place! Very cute little cafe in Pasadena. Owners are super nice and friendly and the little patio area they have is very peaceful and has a really quaint European vibe to it. I got the parade set which is 3 rolls (including the tempura roll, which was my favorite one), and the rolls are so good! I definitely want to come back to try the other sets. I was decently hungry and I was still a little hungry after the three rolls so I would recommend getting 4 or 5 rolls if you're very hungry. I also got a superfood smoothie and it was SO good. It has banana, fresh ginger, baby carrot, lemon, hemp seeds, mango, pineapple, Himalayan pink salt, turmeric, almond milk holy moly it was literally one of the best smoothies I've ever had in my entire life and I really love smoothies. The "superfood" smoothies are a bit on the expensive side, I think mine was around 11 bucks and it's not that big, but it seriously is one of the best smoothies I've ever had. I couldn't afford to get it often, but would I get it again? Absolutely.

Reading these reviews, I was super excited to try Art+Science. But afterwards, totally regretted not just going to Philz around the corner.A very modern, clean and hip café. Limited food menu and an array of drink specials. My girl and I had...Iced Matcha Almond Milk Latte with Red BeansIced Rose Almond Milk LatteThe matcha was good, and the red bean was a great touch. But not the best ever. The rose latte was horrible. They put so much rose syrup that it tasted like chemicals. I couldn't take more than a few sips and ended up throwing it away. The espresso tasted super burnt and extra bitter. The drinks aren't cheap. And not worth it.

One of my favorite local coffee shops-- I live close by and walk over at least once a week for their amazing matcha lattes! Baristas are very friendly, and I love the little outdoor courtyard area for meeting with friends or getting some work done.

Art and Science is a wonderful cafe to grab a drink or a quick bite. It's also great for getting work done outside on their patio! The lattes are amazing!!

The outdoor patio space is really nice for studying and talking. The coffee, hand rolls, guacamole and chips are solid. Been coming here for a few weeks now and the owner and employees here are really cool. 12/10 would recommend

First time being in a non-brand small coffee shop but I think this is the best place in Pasadena. I ordered a latte and that was amazing, better than Blue Bottle or Peets. The shop also has a lot of space for outdoor seating. People are practising social distancing.

Business practices unprofessional. Went for lunch on Saturday, around noon. It wasn't crowded, there may have been one or two other parties who were waiting for food when we arrived. We ordered a coffee, some rolls and chips and guacamole. The chips and guacamole (literally a pile of chips with a scoop of guacamole on top, nothing special) and coffee came out 40 minutes later. She asked if we wanted water. She didn't come out with the waters until another 20 minutes later saying our rolls would "be out soon." We waited another 10 minutes and we couldn't take it any longer. I asked for a refund and we left having wasted a large chunk of our Saturday, and still had to go find another place to get lunch. The chick running the register was nice enough, but completely lacking in the simplest customer service skills. The guy in the back preparing the food gave zero f*cks about what was happening. If you expect a long time to prepare something, you need to let the customer know. I can't believe any halfway decent business would let their customers just sit and wait without any updates. I've worked in the restaurant business myself for a few years and their practices are unfathomable. I seriously can't imagine what someone might be doing to make a customer wait 40 freaking minutes for guacamole spooned over chips. Their inconsistent and unprofessional business practices seem to be regular enough to not be a one-off occurrence. Customer expectation and fulfillment of that is everything in this business. Will never be returning to this place.

It does take time to get your coffee so be prepared to wait a bit. We'll worth the wait though very delicious esp the mocha. Charming courtyard patio. Street parking and parking lots nearby.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the area. Great place to stop by if you're exploring Pasadena, or if you're looking to get some studying/reading done, as they have free wifi. The owners are really nice, and they have both drink and food options. I've gotten the iced vanilla latte, iced hojicha latte and iced cookie monster latte (all with oat milk) so far, and all three were really good.

It's a perfect environment to study and the patio is beautiful and quiet . I love the matcha lavender tea with the shrimp tempura. I been coming here for a while and the staff are super friendly and sweet . This cafe is very inviting and I can either study with matcha or have a nice matcha tea with friends . Come here if you like good tea/ coffee and need some peace and quiet . I also love how the outdoor patio is very private and it's closed off so you have some privacy while studying . I recommend this place highly .

Tried this coffee shop for the first time a week ago and it has become part of my new weekend morning routine. The Cookie Monster ice latte with oat milk is AMAZING. It's not too sweet and has a nice consistency. Hands down my favorite coffee shop around and it's so conveniently close to me which is all the more better!! 100/10 recommend.
