This place is busy but the food is so worth it. Friendly staff and I got my food pretty quickly
I tried both the original and mstcha cinnamon rolls and the banana pudding. Everything i had was tasty
It’s small cute little “hip” place no actual pastries … what i was looking for but i only ordered 3 sweets… originally 4 but it rang up to 27$ and some change$ excuse me? What did i order first of all there’s no price of the bakery items but hey i’m old i’m blind i was in a hurry no customer parking (unless you’re in luck!) 1 pictured tres leches 1 match 1 original cinnamon rolls and 1 coffee cake was 27$ GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK i mean Portos with that price i would be walking out with 2 bag fulls of small but mighty pastries! Took off coffee cake total was 23$ i took the L
Great selection of baked goods with lots of eye catching items.
I’ve tried the matcha cinnamon roll twice — first time was fantastic! The second time it felt a bit too mushy/underbaked.
Came today only waited 15 minutes the cookies are delicious will be coming back. I got white chocolate macadamia nut.
went on a saturday morning, wasn’t too crowded. got the cinnamons roll latte, cinnamon roll, and banana pudding. the banana pudding was definitely the highlight, it was creamy and had the perfect sweetness.
not much seating area, so we sat at a table nearby in oldtown. might come back to try the matcha cinnamon roll since that wasn’t in stock at the time.
Everything was delicious !! The matcha and red velvet cookies were soooo good and the cinnamon roll was perfectly soft. I also grabbed a red velvet cake to go, it was very moist and the icing had a good amount of sweetness without being too sweet. Would highly recommend and cannot wait for my next Cali trip to try more goodies.
Everything was a 15/10! I typically don't have a strong sweet tooth, but this was by far the best cinnamon roll I have tried in my life. I've been waiting to try BadAsh Bakes after seeing numerous positive reviews and buzz around the opening; and let me tell you, this exceeded my expectations by far!
10/10 Cinnamon Roll:
Every bite of the original cinnamon roll played a musical symphony on my taste buds: fluffy, soft, gooey, fresh, and perfectly balanced with the cinnamon and whipped frosting - all of which was not overly sweet (sometimes desserts can be overpowered with sugar).
10/10 Matcha Cinnamon Roll:
Perfection *chef's kiss* You tasted the matcha flavor that complimented the cinnamon roll so well. Again, fluffy, soft, gooey, and fresh.
10/10 Double Foam Matcha Latte:
Spectacular. The notes and flavors of the matcha powder was prominent, without being overly chalky. The matcha foam created a nice, creamy salty/sweet harmonious sip to the palette.
10/10 S'mores Cookie:
Gooey, crispy, chocolaty and marshmellow-y center - like a bite of pure bliss!
I've been itching to come back and order everything again! Fantastic job Ashley! 🎉
Best cinnamon rolls in LA, besides that I highly recommend the tres leches & macadamia cookie. Also has the best tasting matcha I've ever had with beautiful presentation. Banana pudding is also the best with this summer heat!

They should really ensure orders are correct before giving them to customers. My order was missing one of the loafs I ordered. They do read the order off when they hand you your bag. But who wants to do a complete inspection in a crowded small space. I got home with anticipation of eating something I ordered and was let down.
Small but mighty. Super cute. Tasty treats. The wait was worth it. And the owner was hands on right there working hard and speaking with customers.
lovely spot I was most drawn to the Matcha cinnamon roll, and the Matcha here was really good as well will stop by in the future. <3 keep going. You have an amazing product and I wish you all the success.
Very very good. Get there early bcuz there is a wait but it is worth every bit of the wait. I love this place and I wouldn't spend my money there if I didn't everything is do so fresh tasty non gmo and worth it. I'm very excited I stumbled upon this place.
Do not listen to people hating on the cookies! Yes, they are thin, but they are chewy and delicious. The toffee chocolate chip is like heaven on your tastebuds.
Cinnamon roll late is delicious but SWEET!
The cinnamon rolls are also amazing. The breading is kind of tangy, for lack of a better word, but it balances out the sweetness for a well rounded taste.
Banana pudding is my favorite thing on the menu 😋
Yes, the line is long but the internet blew this place up so it is what it is. It’s worth the wait and I can’t wait to see how they expand over time!
Beautiful aesthetic inside, too. That marble countertop is gorgeous and I love the lamps.
